What is Spacecraft....?

What is spacecraft.....?

If we want to know something closely, then we have to get closer.

If we want to know something deeply, then we have to go to its depth.

The same concept is applicable in exploring space. From the earth, we can only collect limited information about a planet, star or any other object. If we want more information , then we have to get closer to the object, and this work is also completed by the 'Spacecraft'.

We must have read in a lot of books and have also seen in the  videos that the Orbital Mission was sent for a planet, Rover Mission sent for a planet and the Lander Mission sent for a planet. And there are some missions that we may not have even heard of.

If you have questions related to these missions in your mind, then read this information...!

A particular name is given to any machine that is sent to space is a Spacecraft. This is the machine that is designed to travel in Space, as well as to travel and survive in the alien environment. And also for researh, observation and exploration in aliean word. Apart form this, many more tools have been installed, which depends that these which are being made for work.

Spacecraft also devided into 2 categories :-

1) Satellite   and    2) Space probe.

so let see how the satellite work...?

We are often called satellites that orbit our earth, such as our moon. But moon is also natural satellite of earth. So we can't put it in the category of spacecraft.

Spacecraft also a 'artificial'. That is, they are made by human being and here we needed to cut the satellites.

1) Natural satellites which is our moon.

2) Artificial satellites :- That we have prepared and sent to the object of the earth. If we talk about artificila satellite then it is a robotic machine which is fully filled with those tools and equipment which further work in their mission.

Artificial satellites also divided into 2 major groups which are

1) Manned Artificial Satellite

2) Unmanned Artificial satellite

Manned Artifical Satellites :- Man made satellites are those who are capable of orbiting the Earth with humans. You can take the space station for the example.

Some experiment that cannot be done on Earth, the scientist perform them in space station in Zero Gravity and Low Gravity.

Shuttle Vehicle :- These are the spacecraft that are launched like a normal passenger ship carrying human beings from the earth to astronauts. But as soon as they move in space, they enter the orbit like satellite.

For example - Colombia and challenger's spacecraft. It is example of manned artificial satellite.

Unmanned Artificial Satellites :- These are those satellite that are not capable of taking humans to space. But they can be controlled from the earth itself. These satellites are also many types, for example 'Weather satellites' that give us information about the Earth's weather. 'Navigation satellite' which is used to know the location accurately. 'Astronomical satellites' which we can aslo call space telescope and observatory. The space telescope also put in unmanned artificial satellite.

It explore the planets, moon, stars, galaxy and unextranomical body's. The best example of astrononmical satellite is 'Hubble Space Telescope'.

What's inside a Spacecraft......?

There is complete control over the front part of the spacecraft, where Astronuts control him. This auxiliary spacecraft is connected to 2 booster rocket's and main engine.

Boost rockets help the spacecraft to rise above the surface on the earth. And as soon as their fuel end's, they are separated from the spacecraft, it is the responsibility of the main engine to move the spacecraft in space.

                              spacecraft

As soon as the spacecraft moves in space, the main engine rocket also differ from it. This is where the journey to spacecraft begins. These are sensors and machines of advanced technology inside it, by which Astronauts can easily complete all their research and experiments in Space.
