Top 5 ways to study in an Indian family.

1: CUT ALL DISTRACTIONS - You can have many distractions in an Indian family, such as mom calling you out again and again for going to market, asking you to bring dried clothes inside, filling up the water bottles, and many more.

If you want to improve your concentration while studying, make sure your parents don't disturb you, causing distractions. Ask them not to disturb you at a particular time period.

2: NO SIBLINGS AROUND- In an Indian Joint Family, you can have dozens of siblings of different age groups screaming and running in the house.

Find yourself a different room away from all your siblings while studying.

 

 

3: NO SLEEPING LATE AT NIGHT - Indian family's habit of sleeping late at night, preferably after 12'o clock.

Make sure you sleep timely so that you can wake up early in the morning when everyone is asleep.

 

 

4: HAVE A GOOD STUDY ENVIRONMENT- Instead of studying in bed, you should find yourself a table chair of a good length that matches your height.

This will help you get a proper position and will ultimately increase your concentration.

 

 

5:MAKE A PROPER STUDY ROUTINE- It is tough to have a proper study routine in a brown family with mothers naturally speaking loudly, causing distractions, siblings all over the house, friends who live nearby popping anytime tons of other reasons.

Make sure that you fix a schedule for your study. A regular allotted time will also help you to cover your syllabus in time.

6: MINIMIZE GOING TO FAMILY GATHERINGS- Indian families have a lot of family functions. One of the other person will be having a marriage or having a baby. Indian's will ask to arrange a party even when you purchase a microwave.

Make sure that you don't waste your time attending such unnecessary parties. Show your appearance only when it's essential.

 

 

7: SURPRISE GUEST VISITS: In an Indian family, guests don't call before showing up. You find them at your door with bags visiting for a one full week stay.

It would help if you did not let these surprise visits affect your study. Fix a schedule and stick to it no matter what.

8:ALWAYS BE PREPARED- If you have a test one week later, prepare it beforehand. You never know which new guest will arrive next or which party you have to attend now.

You can never be careless in an Indian family, so always be prepared for an upcoming test. Make notes and revise them every day.

 

 

9: DIVIDE YOUR SYLLABUS- To complete your syllabus in time, you can follow the divide-up technique. Divide your complete syllabus into different parts and decide a particular time period to complete apart.

This will help you plan every topic and cover it accordingly.

The best way to take your mind off all the stress is to go for a walk or listen to music or even both. 10: STAY MOTIVATED: Lossing motivation to study is one of the main reasons for distractions. Every time you feel de-motivated. Remember what it's all for. Ft.
