The storming of bastille was one of the most historic events in the history of france and even the world. It all started out on 14th july 1789. The city of paris was in a state of alarm. Loius 16 ( the king of france in 1989) had commanded troops to move into the city.
Rumors spread that the king had ordered the soldiers to open fire on citizens. Tens of hundreds People gathered in front of the town hall and formed their on little militia. They searched through number of goverment buildings in search of guns and ammunation.
Finally they moved towards bastille on the east side of france where they hope to find hoarded ammunation. They attacked the prison and killed its commander and released the prisoners. Though only Seven but the prison was hated by all. It stood for the dispoetic powers of the king. Then the prison was demolished and the fragments were sold in the market for those who wanted to keep a souvenier of the destruction of the prison of bastille.
The following days were very critical for france. Revolts took place both inside and outside france. The entire europe had been severly hit by the destruction of bastille.
