Clomid in Post Cycle Theraphy

Besides Nolvadex, Clomid is also an extremely popular Post Cycle Therapy compound. It is also a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. Some of you might know it as Clomifene or Clomifene citrate. It’s available for the use of treating infertility in women. It’s probably the most potent compound out there to help you recover from a steroid cycle. It’s only used when you’ve experienced a great amount of suppression and need a strong compound to stimulate testosterone production. A typical Clomid PCT would look something like the following.. Clomid PCT Protocol It’s also started 2 weeks after the cycle is finished and lasts for about 4 weeks in general. The dosage varies from 25mg to 50mg per day. You might see some bodybuilders take more but it’s usually only for very heavy cycles. Clomid is often used as a PCT. It’s actually one of the most effective compounds to help restore the natural hormone system. But, besides being the most effective, it also has the harshest effects on the body. In case you aren’t familiar with Clomid, it’s a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). It’s often referred to as Clomifene or Clomiphene. It is actually used to help treat infertility in a woman. But for bodybuilders and gym rats, Clomid is a great PCT. It has the ability to block estrogen. The main use of Clomid is to stimulate testosterone production in the testes. Clomid-PCT But using Clomid as a PCT can have serious side effects because it’s much stronger than Nolvadex. The main side effects when using Clomid are mood swings and vision problems. Let’s have a look at a typical Clomid PCT Protocol. Week 1 50mg a day Week 2 50mg a day Week 3 25mg a day Week 4 25mg a day Again, this is just a typical protocol. You’ll find people that run Clomid at 100mg per day in the first few weeks of PCT. In my opinion, that is too much. Clomid is an extremely strong post cycle therapy drug and should not be abused. Of course, it all depends on how badly your natural hormone system is suppressed. For a simple 16 week Testosterone and Dianabol cycle, the above protocol will be sufficient. But, if you’ve been blasting and cruising for several years you will probably need a different PCT protocol. Clomid is often used as a PCT. Please, guys, do NOT listen to the blogs that advice crazy amounts of Clomid. This is VERY dangerous and not advised! Usually, a Clomid PCT protocol is about 4 weeks. But, despite being very potent Clomid can have some nasty side effects. Side effects include vision problems, mood swings, and headaches. This makes a lot of people steer clear from using the Clomid PCT. However, when it’s used at moderate dosages it seems to be very manageable. I personally don’t have any experience with using it as a post cycle therapy. From all the compounds I’ve used, my preference still goes out to Arimistane.
