Diabetes, also known as sugar or diabetes, is a very dangerous disease. Millions of people all over the world suffer from diabetes. In India, more than 60 million people are suffering from this disease.

 

 What is diabetes

 We consume food to get energy. This food is first converted to starch, then to starch glucose. The hormone called insulin in the body delivers this glucose to the cells of our entire body, which gives us energy.  If the hormone called insulin in the patient's body stops or decreases, then the level of glucose in the blood increases significantly; this condition is called sugar or diabetes.

 


 Types of diabetes

 There are mainly three types of sugar or diabetes: -


 Type 1 diabetes -----

 In this type of diabetes, the body is unable to make insulin, due to which the patient needs daily insulin to control his disease and keep himself alive.


 Type 2 diabetes -----

 In this type of diabetes, insulin is produced in the body, but its quantity is not enough to meet the need of the body. As a result, the cells of the body are unable to use sugar as a source of energy, and this causes sugar in the blood.  This type of diabetes is seen more often in people who are 40 years or more; this stage of diabetes is the most common.


 Diabetes in pregnancy ------

 This type of diabetes is seen in women during their pregnancy. This is called gestational diabetes. This type of diabetes recovers itself after delivery, but some women may still have diabetes after delivery.  Women should be taken special care of in this situation; otherwise, the mother and child may suffer damage during delivery.

 1 • Irritability

 2 • Not sleeping properly

 3 • Frequent urination

 4 • Abnormal incidence of weight

 5 • more hungry

 6 • more thirsty

 7 •  Dizziness

 8 • tired soon

 9 • itching around the genitals

 10 • Weak eyesight

 There are many other symptoms that we see when we have sugar.


 


 Diabetes Patient's Diet

 Diabetics should pay a lot of attention to their diet because food affects their weight and the amount of sugar in the blood. Diabetes patients can control their disease by making some changes in their daily diet.


 ● What to eat

 • Eat whole grains, sprouted pulses, roasted chickpeas, etc.

 • Grind gram flour or gram flour in wheat flour and eat

 • Eat raw vegetables like salad, carrot, radish, cucumber, cucumber, onion, etc.

 • Eat green leafy vegetables like spinach, brinjal, cauliflower, cabbage, fenugreek, etc.

 • Eat less sweet fruits like seasonal orange guava, apple papaya, watermelon, etc.

 • Get 3-4 liters of water daily

 

 ● What not to eat

 • More sweet fruits like mango, banana chiku, etc.

 • Very sweet things like jaggery, sugar ladoo pudding cake, etc.

 • Avoid fried, fried things like puri dumplings, parathas, etc.

 • Cream Milk Ghee, Butter, Red Meat, etc.

 • Rooted vegetables like potatoes are sweet potato, turnip chukar and etc.

 • Cold drinks like lime, cola juice, sugarcane juice, alcohol, etc.

 

 If someone gets diabetes, then this disease is not cured completely, but if we take care of ourselves, then we can overcome serious illnesses like diabetes.
