Why are Iphones are expensive?

Apple products have always been expensive, but in recent years, the price tags for top-end devices have boggled buyers' imagination.
The new iPhone Xs has become the most expensive smartphone of the company; for its price, it is quite possible to take a used car. 
However, the iPhone's price is justified, and Apple has several reasons to sell its devices with such a price tag.
 
iPhone costs as much as people are willing to pay for it

Only the cost of components is almost half the iPhone Xs' price, and the company also makes money on gadgets.
 
It is foolish to blame Apple for inflating the price of the devices it sells when we do not know their real cost.

 

 
Competitors on Android are worth it.
If competing devices on a different OS were cheaper, one could accuse Apple of being greedy, but top-end smartphones are getting close to the iPhone level every year.
 
For a device with a set of modern technologies, you have to pay accordingly. This is not a conspiracy of companies to obtain super-profits; the devices' cost is what we are willing to pay for them (see the previous point).
