My first day at college

Before admission

I was looking forward to the result of the Matriculate  Examination. At last, the result was declared. I passed the examination with credit. It was decided that I should get admission to Government College, Sahiwal. It is the biggest college in the district. I waited anxiously for the date of admission. At last, it was notified by the college authorities. I promptly filled in the admission form and submitted it to the college office. I was told to appear before the admission committee for an interview. It was good luck for me that I was declared successful in the interview. 

After admission

It was a summer morning when I went to attend college for the first time. The sky was cloudy, and the weather was very fine. I went to college in a very happy mood. 

Raging by seniors

As I entered college, I found some students standing near the gate. They smiled at me, and I felt that they wanted to talk to me. I also wanted to know where I could see the time table of college. I went to those boys and asked them to tell me about the time table. They told me to go with them to the notice board. I started walking with them. They began to walk fast. They asked me to run with them. Now I was running with them. I wanted ti to take a rest. But one of the boys pushed me from behind and asked me to keep running. The boys took me to the notice board afterward. They went away shouting First Year Fool.

First-class

I read the time table of college very carefully. I found that the first period was English. In the first period, our professor of English welcomed us to the college. Our professors talked to us in a very friendly tone. I was very much impressed by their politeness. 

Pleasures of college life

The college days are called golden days. The students are concerned with eating, playing, and studying. That is why the old people remember the days of college with feelings of pleasure, pride, and a sense of loss. 

College is an atmosphere of freedom.

The principal charm of college life lies in an atmosphere of freedom. At the school level, the students have to work on the guidelines provided by the teachers. The rod of the teachers always hangs heavy on the head of students. But in the student's move, reel, and act with freedom. They feel independent to think and do anything. The professors are friendly. They respect the students and try to develop their self-respect.
