Legally blondes Movie Review

Legally Blondes, a 2009 comedy film that is a spin-off of the legally blonde series, features the blonde twins Izzy Woods and Annie Woods, who are cousion to Elle Woods. Izzy woods and Anne are introduced with a crazy love for pink same as their Cousin Elle Woods. They are shown to delude shopkeepers into not paying full price for the items they purchase with their charms.

They move to southern California to stay at Elle's home, join a private school and meet with the headmaster Elsa Higgins, who gives them a big book on school rules that includes a strict dress code. In the school, they meet with Tiffany, a spoiled child of a rich father who founded the school who acts like a friend for a while and then shows them her true colors by embarrassing them at a formal dance. This creates Tension between The twins and Tiffany.

Positives

The movie does a great job in creating conflict between protagonist and antagonist. Tiffany is shown as a person who is spoiled by her father's luxury. When we first get introduced to tiffany, we immediately get the idea from the way she talks, and she looks that she is going to be the antagonist of this movie. Acting like being nice and kind, she immediately fools the blonde twins as if she is a good person who is a genuine friend and then shows her color by embarrassing them at the dance. Seeing the twins being friends with other students at the school, Tiffany finds another way to create conflict between the characters by dividing them. By filling Izzy's had that Annie has been in love with her boyfriend and wants to take him away and plotting to make it seem like Izzy passed the test by cheating, she creates a great conflict between the characters, which takes the half of the movie for me. This movie tries to tell the audience that it's better to have good friends than cool friends.

Negatives

This movie didn't stand as good as the first two movies with awful acting and terrible editing. The transitions when the screen rotates just took me off the show. It didn't feel natural to me. It was really off. The acting was terrible. The way they talk and the body language didn't feel too natural. It was just very stiff acting. The jokes were really shit. The blondes didn't have any personality aside from being too kind and sweet. They aren't fun at all. The pacing is just as bad. At first, the movie is just fast, and then at the second part of the movie, it just slows down. And the one thing I didn't understand is why does Anne or Izzy even trust Tiffany even aster she showed her true colors, like when she tried to create conflict between the characters. It's just unclear.

Conclusion

This was overall a trash movie even though it has some positives.
