How to detox your brain for better thinking, memory, deeper relationships, and long lasting happiness.

Why we need brain detoxification?

Our brain is just a softmass of nervous tissues connected to the spinal cord. It controls approximately every action in our body.

Our ability to think, talk, feel, see, hear, remember thing and our every action is supervised  by our brain.

A brain detox protects us from poor brain functions,  neurodegenerative diseases and symptoms of brain malfunctioning  such as:

  • Anxiety and depression 
  • Memory loss
  • Addictions
  • Brain fog
  • Fatigue

How to detox our brain?

1.Get a enough sleep everyday. 

Most adults need about seven to nine hours of sleep everyday.  Our Glymphatic system (A system of blood vessels which removes waste products from our brain and central nervous system) is most active while we sleep. So enough sleeping supports natural detoxification process.

2. Aim for 20 to 30 minutes of exposure to nature

Exposure to nature helps us to improve mental clarity,  decreases stress, anxiety and depression and give us an improved physiological effect.  So go sit in a park and find out the beauty of nature. 

3.Cover a diverse area of fruits and vegetables in your daily meal.

Eat lots of dark leafy green and cruciferous fruits and vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, turnip, radish, broccoli, spinach etc . Include nuts, legumes seeds fatty fruits with your balanced diet like avocados, almonds, walnuts, etc.

 

4. Exercise and workout.

Sweat each and every day. Run, walk, do yoga, bicycle, swim, dance, play cricket or football and do anything sportious which make you sweat. Have deep breathing exercises regularly. Deeper exhalation helps in removing metabolic wastes and oxidize our blood.

 

5. Maintain good hydration. 

Proper fluid balance keeps our blood and lymph moving in our vascular system and through the kidneys for better elimination of wastes through urination. 

 

6. Stop being in contact with anyone who does not add positive vibes in your life.

Make your life full of productive and positive experiences. Just ignore them who give you negative vibes. You will get a bad influence on your mind when you are closer to these type of peoples. So just avoid them.

 

7. Your phone is the biggest enemy.

Addictions to the smartphone and other gadgets are now a common and normal thing. But it messes with our minds. If not necessary put your phone separately from yourself. Try not to swipe ten kilometers of feed from your finger tips.

 

8. Spend more time outside, spend time with the person you enjoy.

Go to your friends and enjoy your free time with them. They will make you feel good. So laugh, enjoy and go out with your friends or the people you are comfortable with. 

 

9. Share your problems with your family and close friends.

Your family and good friends know your importance. So if you are going through a tough time just go them and share your problems. They will make you feel special and may be you get a solution for the problem.

10. Give time to the things you like to do.

listen to the music, play guitar, paint, read books, watch movies and cartoons do whatever which makes you calm.

By following these steps you will able to detox your brain and can focus on your studies or career.
