8 HEALTHY HABITS TO START IN 2021

Let's talk about some healthy habits that you can incorporate into 2021 or whenever (it's never too late). These are some habits that can change you and make you level up your lives!!

1. DEDICATE TIME FOR YOU

Dedicate a day each week for you where you do something for yourself to make you happy. Life is constantly like a dog chasing its own tail; there is always something you need to get done. Sometimes you mess things up, and everything hits too hard on you. Stop being so hard on yourself. Sometimes you just got to let it all go and do something for yourself and relax. Sometimes we don't give enough attention and love to ourselves so setting aside some time if you only have time for a few hours each week, maybe 10 minutes a day, find something that makes you happy, something that really brings you joy not for work or school but just for you.

2. BEGIN AND END YOUR DAY WITH GRATITUDE

There is a lot of different ways you can do this; some people like to write it down. Other people just like to think about it in their head. Writing it down is better because waking up being grateful for thing s, and ending the day really can make you happy as a person. Don't get me wrong, things can suck but no matter how bad things get, there is always something going right; if you don't know how to start with this, start writing about the things or people that make you happy. The simpler things that make you grateful, the happier you get each day. 'Are you grateful for the naps you take?' once you really start honing in on the minuscule things that usually get overlooked, you become a happier person.

3. DOCUMENT YOUR LIFE AND MAKE MEMORIES

For nostalgic people, they love creating memories and also remembering them because there are a lot of moments in life that are really awesome and meant to be saved and remembered for a lifetime as memories. But sometimes you forget about it whether it's in like a few months or a few years you forget about it and what you should probably do is writing it down in your journal if something really awesome happened that day even if it is like a little entry and you could look back and totally get all the nostalgic moments in life. Consider making happy memories a healthy habit and documenting them because if you are having a bad day, it's kind of a reminder that things do get better, and there are good days ahead.

4. CREATING A MORNING ROUTINE

This the main goal everyone should basically try to get into your life, follow a healthy morning routine in your daily life. It is just amazing looking forward from the morning you gain energy or mood for the day you are waking up into. How you start, a day is important and really sets the tone for how your day is going to go. Humans are just creatures of habit and routine, so having a set morning one and having a set night one can really help to elevate and change your life. You don't have to love the morning time to have a morning routine.

5. NIGHTLY CLEAN

Do a ten minute clean up every night. It could be five minutes or thirty minutes totally depends upon you. Start small because usually when we set super board goals for ourselves, it can get kind of daunting to do basically what your gotta do before you go to sleep, whether it is in the midst of your night routine or right before you go to bed clean up your space, room or house. Pick up your stuff from the floor, keep your place, and maintain the hygiene around. When you have a clean space, you have a clear mind; you can make up the amount of time that you clean. I just feel like once you get started, you want to keep going instead of stuff piling on, and you only have one set day to clean the house; you can do a little five or ten minute cleans that can really add up and make a difference so that you don't have a huge mess.

6. PUT YOUR LEGS UP A WALL

You might be like, ''what are you like talking about, legs? walls?'' I learned about this a little time back. Whether you are an athlete or not, you should do this. It is so good for you. Basically, all day when you're walking around just doing the everyday average normal life stuff, you are obviously on your feet doing things, and by the end of the day, you have been on your feet for many hours. There are tons of benefits to trying it out, especially if you are someone who works out a lot or you are on your feet. I will promise this will change the game.

7. REPLACE YOUR SCREENTIME

Replace your screentime with something else it could be reading books, writing, painting, dancing, etc., according to your taste. Something that isn't on a screen on all these things is good for you; it promotes creativity. Sometimes you can get so sucked into what's on your phones when there are better things we can do with your time that can make us feel better. Try being productive other than spending time on your phones. We are not meant to be staring at the screens all the time, so sometimes you have to lower your screentime.

8. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY

Take care of your body, whether it is stretching, focusing on your posture, eating healthy foods, taking care of your skin. Sometimes we fail to realize that this is our body; we are ever gonna have our one true home, and it is important to take care of that, so taking care of your mental health, your physical health, that's all super important, and sometimes it gets neglected. Make a list that is definitely something you will put down in your to-do lists. Make sure you stretch, do your skincare. Drink a tone of water; it is really good when you are taking care of your body. Water is very much important for your body so that you stay healthy and get glowing skin also feels good and is healthy.

Try focusing on improving yourself each year, wanting to be the best version of yourself, how much ever you have become, try doing and growing into the best of you.
