To look more attractive and fashionable, people wear trending designer clothes but tend to get tattoos on their bodies and jewelry piercings. Therefore, on the occasion of any events, parties or even trips more attention is paid to do such trending things. 

The changing seasons has affects on our skin and body. Specially in winters our skin tends to become dry. That is why, we should pay attention to avoid doing all these things in cold winters. 

Getting tattoos, jewellery piercings, waxing and laser therapy during cold days can become stressful and more painful.

Hence, here goes the list of some things which one should try to avoid during extreme cold winter days.

Tattoo

Among the common people and fashion trenders body art paintings or tattooing is known Tattoo. Tattoo can be any picture, design or any quotes written on the skin.

Tattoo is made by puncturing the skin with needle and injecting special ink into the deep layer of the skin. Whether the tattoo is small or large, it hurts for some period of time. 

But getting these tattoos done on the body during cold days should be avoided if possible. During cold winter days, swelling which is caused after tattooing tends to cause more pain due to cold in surrounding. 

Winters also make our skin dry and this dry skin can exacerbate this pain.

Piercing

Most of us, specially women must have pierced ears as a child. But as an adult, we have to be careful while piercing the body parts such as, nose, lips, eyebrows, tongue, stomach, cheeks or ear lobes.

Cold weathers highly affect our skin by making it dry. Hence there is a high probability of injury due to cold at the exact place of piercing.

Acne Removal

Any pimples, acnes and scars on skin annoying. Modern discoveries have made it possible to eliminate these. There are many therapies available. One of these is Laser therapy, to remove pimples but this option can be harmful in the cold weather.

But anaesthesia is not a permanant solution. After the anaesthesia effect is released, these wounds become painful and it can be difficult to heal faster in cold climate conditions.

Most people encounter problems such as swelling, redness, pain or sometimes even pus formation in the wounds.

Brazilian Waxing

The pain felt after doing Brazilian waxing is known to many people. Brazilian waxing is a method of removing pubic hair using special hot or cold wax.

The pain to be bared is always severe in cold climates than that has to be bared on a hot summer day or on a day with normal warm temperatures.

During the cold days, skin tends to get dry which can cause problems such as itching, redness, rashes and acne breakouts etc. If not healed, it may lead to scratching and inflammation. 

Therefore, it is better to avoid doing Brazilin waxing during cold winter season.

Heel or Foot Surgery

New discoveries in medicine and science, have made more and more options available for women to look more beautiful. These options include from simpler medications and as well as complicated surgeries. 

Experimenting such cosmetic surgeries on skin should be avoided as possible in cold winters. Rate of healing of wounds in cold weather is much slower than the rate of healing in other season days. 

It is important to keep in mind, that the heel or foot must be protected from cold after the surgery to make it look more beautiful. Otherwise, in the presence of lack of care and protection, this same surgery may leave adverse effects on the foot.
