Poverty:
Poverty is a certain level of material deprivation, below which an individual suffers physically, emotionally, and socially. It’s a stage where people’s necessities for food, clothes, and shelter are not available. Poverty can be simply defined as a lack of money or the basic needs of everyday human life. Poor people are facing much more difficulties to survive. They can also make themselves feel isolated from their own community.
Poverty is an illness that reduces people’s energy, dehumanizes them, and creates a sense of helplessness and is customarily associated with an unhealthy and destructive environment. Poverty causes the condition of not affording basic human needs such as clean water, nutrition, healthcare, clothing, education, food, and a warm place to live.
