What is meaning of Happiness?

Story of man who want to be Monk

There is a big hall in which the owner of a big company seat with his two children.  One will be in the mid-forties and the other is around 35 years old,

And all the staff of his company is sitting in front of them.

The situation is that the eldest son of the owner wants to retire and want to be monk, but the father and the youngest son want to change his mind.

Now the seen begins, the father says, "It is not right for you to think of retiring at such a young age. You have such a long life in front of you. Don't think like a mad man except to enjoy that pleasure."

Younger bother view toward's happiness

Then his younger son gets up, and stands in front of everyone and says, "Brother, today I am going to show you what happiness is, that you will miss if you became a monk."

So he called a fat (food-loving) employee sitting nearby, and placed a sweet dish in front of him, and told him to take bite of it, he ate happily, then he looked at his older brother and said, "Look, brother, you will miss this happiness. "

His brother, however, was quietly watching,

He then called an employee and told him that you had been an assistant manager in the company until today, but now you are being promoted, you have become a manager from today.

The man was very happy about this,

He looked back at his elder brother and said, "Look, brother, you will miss this pleasure.

He later approved home loan application for a loan for a big house for an employee. Seeing the happiness on his face, he addressed his older brother and said, "The happiness on his face is that you are lagging behind."

Eventually there was a couple in the company, who had just fallen in love.  And was about to get married in a few days, raised them up and wished them well for the future life and showed the joy on their faces back to the elder brother.

Older brother's answer's of all questions

The older brother got up and said, "I will prove to you now that all the happiness you have shown me is not permanent. First, answer me my question."

Happiness is defined by what my younger brother showed me, "Happiness is something you always want and you never get bored of." Do you think that my definition of happiness is correct?

Everyone said yes in unison, then he looked at his younger brother, he also nodded and said yes

Then he said, OK, you say, then he called the fat (food-loving) employee again, again put sweet dish in front of him again and told him to take bite, he take two bite, then he told him to eat more, he ate more, he told him to eat more, now  But his face was a little tragic.  However, as the boss says, he ate two more, but when he asked for more, he refused.  "Bass, I'm out of capacity now, I can't eat anymore."

At this, he started addressing everyone and said, "You have defined happiness which you never get bored of. Isn't it happiness to eat sweet, then you don't want to get bored of this happiness? But you got bored of happiness."

Now he went to the new manager, and told him that from today you are not a manager but a senior manager, I am also the owner of the company, in the sense that I can easily give you this position, the employee was very happy, he got two promotions in one day.  Were received.

He looked back at his younger brother and said that he was happy to be the assistant manager now.  And in ten minutes I made him the senior manager of the manager, but the joy of being a manager now seemed old to him.  I mean, even this happiness is not eternal.

Wouldn't the employee who had been granted a loan for a large house be happy when he first got the house he was living in before?  And last but not least, the couple did not see this love, they both made each other aware of their past life and now the older brother apologized to the couple for the feelings they felt before each other.

you have to hurt yourself more if you want to enjoy more happiness

After that an employee came running up there, probably he was peon.  He was sweating as he ran through the sun.  It was a little embarrassing to be late.  While the handkerchief was wiping away the sweat, the older brother called to him, the man who had eaten the sweet dishes, and ordered two cold fruit juices, and gave them both to drink.  The two of them drank it, the peon drank it slowly, but the person who ate a lot of sweet dishes drank it angrily.

The older brother then asked the staff, "Did you see the two of them drinking the same juice, but tell me, who was happiest?"

Everyone answered quickly, "Of course to that Peon."

Big brother's opinion on this was "I mean if you consider that juice as happiness here, then when you have to wander in the heat to enjoy it, the happiness you get is more divine. That means if you want to enjoy happiness more, you have to hurt yourself first."  ?

Everyone agrees with big brother, we should also think.  I don't understand how to conclude this answer, but I will write a sentence here that will suggest me

"Once the mind realizes that life is fleeting, happiness does not bring much happiness and even the edge of sorrow becomes blunt."
