Well, a new study actually suggests that those who eat a large meal in the morning burn more than twice as many calories as those who have their largest meal for dinner.

What you should eat -or even just breakfast- has been questioned in recent years. If you are wondering if you want to scrap your morning meal altogether, consider a new study by the journal of clinical endocrinology and metabolism.

The study looked at 16 men who ate a low-calorie breakfast and a low- calorie dinner and then did the opposite over the course of three days.  The findings were quite shocking. Research has shown that a low- calorie breakfast causes more snacking throughout the day.

Not only do those ho eat a Smaller Breakfast tend to eat more, But they also eat more during dinner. A large breakfast leads to less hunger and less appetite for sweets every day.

Measuring food metabolism subject by diet-induced thermogenesis (DIT), showed that there DIT was on average two and a half times higher after breakfast compared to dinner. That right, the participants' metabolism was much more active after there morning breakfast which of course lead to the burning the calories.

The study also showed that the man's blood sugar and insulin levels were lower and that they needed fewer sweets with a big breakfast instead of a big dinner. The result confirms that a large dinner has negative effects on glucose tolerance for those looking for blood glucose peaks. The study state that a full breakfast therefore preferable to large dinner meal to reduce the risk of metabolic diseases.

So you might want to consider a large meal a breakfast, not only to recharge your self in the morning but also to lose weighthttthto your glucose and to boost your metabolism early in the day.
