Ooty is another heaven in INDIA, is a beautiful place covered with the beauty of green color everywhere in the town, over the hills. The place is like a big resort, all covered with greenery. The town locals farm tea plants, and a wide variety of tea leaves are produced and turned into our lovely tea; there are many small factories which convert tea leaves into a finished product ready for making tea; the factories are always open for tourists so that people can watch the live conversion of tea leaves into daily use tea, tourist can also buy the fresh-made tea, which is packed as per the quantity specified by the tourist. It is my personal experience of watching this fantastic process live. And here comes the most beautiful product produced in Ooty at homes, known as Homemade Chocolates; it is the art of making unique tasty chocolates at home, tourists can watch the live making of the art. Many people visiting Ooty buy homemade chocolates in a sum of large quantities to sell, show, and to give as a greeting to relatives and friends. Another art performed by the locals called the budding, in this locals create different plants, small plants, showpiece plants, and much more ready for sale; one can buy seeds of many flowering plants to plant them at their places.
The local natives are polite and friendly, except for the high costs at some specific places, Ooty can be your destiny in a beautiful place. The best time in the year to visit this heaven is winters. The greenery is more flourished, the lakes are so clean and beautiful, and the exciting thing is the blurry cold fog starting from evening to the dawn; in my experience, I never saw that thing ever again, walls of hotel rooms get a little bit wet, the cold fog can also be felt in the room, the little water flows all over from the ceiling to the bottom, and the temperature goes below 2-degree celsius. There are many ways to go to Ooty, one can visit it by driving roads from the hills to the peak, but if you want to enjoy the beauty of the green hills and want to see down from the hills towards the small town down, you should take toy train, the train is so beautiful, it runs by steam, walks slowly all over the hills so tourists can click as many pics as much they want. It rides all over the small tracks moving around and up towards the Ooty. Tourists can buy beautiful things from beautiful markets over the city, one can visit the local deer park, but the best place for flower and nature lover is the biggest rose garden, which has more than 150 species of different roses and the amazing green roses, one can buy roses and their seeds too. The take care of the garden; some roses are so big, some small, some soft, some little strong, but all are different and beautiful. There might be some or no entry fees but full grantee of enjoyment in the beauty of Ooty.
