According to my view, first of all, we should find the origin and source of the news and then try to understand the reliability of the news from which it is extracted. Most people who share or forward this type of misinformation sometimes don't even know what they are sharing might be harmful to the society or illegal and can be sued in the court or even can be made pay them a heavy penalty for their ignorance activities. We should make them aware of the consequences he/she is making by circulating the rumors unknowingly.
According to me, there should be some norms and regulations for everyone which should be followed while uploading any such videos, pictures, audio, or messages. Day by day crimes are increasing at an alarming rate due to this type of fake news. So, we need to be very cautious and attentive.
