How to Get Korean Glass Skin at Home

Introduction

There are myths that ten steps process or say the 12 step process is to be followed to get Korean glass skin. These steps even involve costly creams, face masks, cleansers, etc.

Korean girls not only apply any product externally on the skin. They believe that only the external application of products is not long-lasting. Our body needs to be pampered from the inside if we need to look glossy from outside.

If you want to get Korean glass skin, you can get the same by following some procedures without a considerable cost.

Keeping aside all the myths, Korean glass skin can even get at home by following the procedures given below :

What to include in our diet?

So firstly, we will see what we have to include in our diet.

The first thing to be taken most importantly if you are passionate about smooth skin is HONEY.

Just after brushing, as soon as you wake up, take two tablespoons of HoneyHoney mixed in lukewarm water. Make it a habit to consume HoneyHoney daily because it pampers our body from inside. Korean girls have made their routine to drink HoneyHoney every morning.

The next essential ingredient is CURD.

Curd has lactic acid, which helps shed dead cells from the skin and fights against wrinkles and acne.

Korean people include Kimchi in their diet. Selenium found in garlic in Kimchi keeps skin and hair healthy. It also helps to prevent wrinkles in the long run.

But as Kimchi is not available in India quickly, we can use curd as a substitute for Kimchi. Curd is very useful for our stomach as well.

Next is the item whose consumption is to be reduced to get glass skin, i.e., SALT.

We Indians generally consume excessive salt. One reason for food to be tasty for us is it must have a sufficient amount of salt. The point to be highlighted here is that excessive salt consumption leads to excess sodium in the body due to which the body gets dehydrated and makes skin dry and patchy. Salt may also result in premature aging. So we have to reduce its consumption as much as possible. Korean people use a meager amount of salt in their food as its result is visible on their skin.

What DIY remedies to be done?

Now let us look at some essential DIY steps to be done at home for glass skin.

The first step is CLEANSING

Cleansing is the first step to get smooth skin. You can cleanse your skin using ice cubes made of milk and black sesame seeds.

To make ice cubes, mix milk and water in equal proportion and then spread some black sesame seeds over it in a tray.

Let the water turn to ice cubes and then gently rub it onto your skin from the side where black sesame is present. Repeat this step twice daily. This step also helps in exfoliation.

Using a SHEET MASK.

The work of a sheet mask is to keep skin hydrated and healthy. Instead of purchasing a costly sheet mask, we can use the items available with us at a low cost to keep skin hydrated and healthy.

So here we have to do massage on our skin using Aloe vera gel and HoneyHoney.

Mix both the ingredients and then massage it 10-12 minutes and then wash off your face with cold water. Do this step once daily.

Using Specific TONERS

Traditional toners are often ignored because some find them too drying, but they take on an entirely different role in Korean skincare. Toners are formulated with refreshing and moisture-enhancing ingredients (like green tea, galactomyces, ginseng, and floral water). They are applied not only to restore the skin’s pH levels but also to provide base hydration and allow better absorption of incoming products.

The last thing for glass skin is that Korean girls do very little makeup. They know makeup damages the skin, so that applies very little makeup or even no makeup—that why their skin looks so glossy.

Also, they never use makeup remover to remove makeup.

They always prefer oil to remove makeup. Coconut oil is readily available at every home and can be used to remove makeup. Olive oil can also be used to remove makeup.

By following the above procedures, you can get a natural smooth skin at a little cost, and without applying any product full of chemicals.
