How to avoid procrastination and make works done

How many of you have been planning to make a work done but procrastinating it? Here are some useful tips to beat procrastination. So, firstly let's get into What is procrastination? In the book "Art of war," the author has described it as Resistance. It's a word that keeps you away from doing your work.

Generally, everyone here wants to get a job done, but for some reason, you avoid it all costs by checking Facebook, Instagram feed, or some other social platforms. One reason for procrastination, maybe your work is so crucial for you, but you are scared to do it. Let it be a college project or personal work that means a lot to you, and you probably feel a sort of Resistance that causes you to procrastinate.

So, here are a few techniques that I have been trying for a long time. These might help you to get rid of procrastination and give you better results.

The Short and easy answer to beat procrastination is to take action. It's super simple to feel but incredibly challenging to take action. So now the question is, How do you do it? My best advice on how to get yourself started on taking action is to look at what you have to do and ask yourself," what's the smallest and easiest work" break it down as little as you can.

Take the most straightforward step, like opening up your computer, laptop, or the gadget you are involved with. Once you are done, then ask the same question to yourself, what's the next easiest step again. Now finish it off.

If you keep doing this, you will build momentum on your work. I do realize that it is pretty painful and difficult to take action but do remember, "Building up a big castle starts with a single brick." This is our first step.

The other best strategy is to set a time deadline for yourself to complete the project. This helps you to reach your flow state.

Treat yourself with small rewards when you are done with your work.
Now coming to most of your favorite strategy is setting up "mood music." I would suggest you listen to Subliminals' concentration or slow and soothing music, which motivates you to work.

Many apps help you to work on time, like reminders. There is an app known FOREST. You will have to set a time reminder here and should keep on working till the time ends. Once you are done with your work, then a plant will be planted on behalf of your work. In case you tend to check any other app during the time limit, then your tree will be chopped.

I hope you will not kill your trees. So, it's a kind that motivates you. And what's cool about the forest is that I think after collecting some coins, it plants real trees in real life.

The last strategy you can try is to write a journal or meditate before you get into work. Keeping a gratitude journal boosts up your energy.
