First of all, we have to understand that what is subvocalization. Simply it is a habit in every human because of that a human can be able to read but by the same hobby, the human becomes a slow reader. So in this habit we are taught to say the words which we read or say the words which we speak. In real when we were in level one means below level we were taught that we have to say what we read or remember. Whenever a teacher said A FOR APPLE the whole class with a loud voice said A FOR APPLE. Naturally outbrain has the ability to read speedily, our eyes have to move speedily what we are reading but both can not follow nature due to our bad habit the subvocalization. Because a human can not speak so faster than a brain can read. So how we can discontinue subvocalization. I am telling you below
USE POINTER
You should use pointer so that your eyes concentrate only on what we read. You do not know that when we read our eyes see much more except the word we are reading. The things that eye see are:THE WORD YOU HAVE READ,THE WORD YOU HAVE TO READ, THE WORD YOU ARE READING So, When you will use pointer your attention will not be so wide and you can concertrate only on the word you are reading. And you have to try not to speak

MOVE THE POINTER SPEEDLY THAN YOUR COMMON SPEED
By moving your pointer more speedly makes you habitual of trying not to say what you read. If you move pointer more speedly than you normal speed the Brain has to follow the speed of pointer not the speed of tongue with which you say the reading words. I understand that it is a forcement with your habit but you can not discontinue the bad habit without destroying or replacing it by a new and good habit. By making your pointer speed you will not understand some words but you will say some words and some words will be missed and by that your subvocalization will be destroyed and as you know that SUBVOACALIZATION IS INDIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO READING SPEED.
But you should work hard for keeping it up
