5 Exercises to Improve your Eyesight

1. Blink for a Minute

This exercise helps to regulate blood circulation inside your edges and gives relaxation and a break from light. Do it twice a day- in the morning and at night 

2. Rotate your head:

This exercise, too, increases the blood circulation inside your eyes.

First, turn your head from right to left, then up and down, looking ahead. Please do it for a minute.

3. Look to your right and left:

First, make yourself comfortable, then you need to look to your right side for a while and do the same for your right side. Do it slowly while inhaling and feel relax. After finishing, close your eyes for a few seconds.

4. Close and Open your eyes:

This exercise helps to relax your eye muscles.

Please close your eyes for 5 seconds tightly, then open them. Repeat it for a minute.

5. Move your Eyeball:

First, close your eyes, then slowly moves your eyeball up and down. Keep doing it very slowly with closed your eyes. Keep on doing it comfortably for 15 to 20 seconds.

6. Strengthen your eyes- Near and Far, focusing

First, sit on a chair or stand straight in front of a blank wall.

Then place your right thumb about a foot far from your face and focus on it for 15-20 seconds. You can also focus on an object that is 5 to 10 feet away from your position for 10 to 20 seconds.

Now, focus on an object that is 10 to 20 feet away in front of you without moving your head. Please do it for 15 to 20 seconds.

After taking 15-20 seconds, refocus on your thumb. And repeat this five times.

7. Draw the Geometric Figures with your gaze

Keeping your eyes open, draw simple geometric figures with your gaze.

You can start with a triangle. And draw a big rectangle. Also, you can draw a big square or a circle. Then you can move on to more complicated shapes such as trapezium and parallelepiped. Do this exercise for a few minutes.

8. Move your gaze in different directions 

This exercise helps to improve all aspects of your visual perception. It is suitable for both NEARSIGHTEDNESS and FARSIGHTEDNESS.

It would be best if you moved your gaze in different directions. First, move your eyes from left to right slowly, taking time 5 seconds. And now, look up and down for another five seconds. After that, turn your eyes in circulation motion. Please do it for 10 to 15 seconds. Then draw the figure of Number with your eyes, e.g., the figure of 8, 5 3 4, etc. Do it slowly with no rush.

9. Close your eyes and relax

All you need to do, just close your eyes and sit properly.

Most important is to relax your eyelids completely. Think about somethings that you like to do, your future, your vocations, your best moments that give you pleasure and stay with your eyes closed for at least 30 seconds.
