This game got so many awards because people love this game so much. It is so popular and best-selling game of all time after Tetris. That's why it got some game awards like Best Independent Game Award in 2011, Kids' Choice Awards in 2015 & 2020 because it is popular in adults as well as kids.
Even it is played in Sweden schools and it also got the Best Family & Social Game Award in 2015. Even the creator of this game Markus Persson (Notch) got a special award from BAVGA (British Academy Video Games Awards).
TOOK 2 YEARS TO CREATE
Generally, Minecraft took 6 days to create but that was the initial version. It took almost 2 yrs to improve, getting updates to complete like as it is now. That's why if you search on Google, you will see its initial release date is 7th October 2011 but the initial version made in 2009.
The graphics of this game is like a box style comparing to other games. It doesn't even have detailed graphics, modeling, character details, etc but still, it took 2 yrs to complete. So we can know any game even a simple game takes time to complete.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN MINECRAFT
Actually, achievements are called trophies in PlayStation and XBOX. You can get trophies when you complete any challenge in the game. For example, Minecraft Bedrock Edition has a total of 111 achievements. You can collect these achievements only on XBOX and PlayStation. The cracked version of this game also has achievements.
ADVENTURE MODE
This game also has an adventure mode in Personal Game Mode section where you can explore the custom maps but you have to survive too like your own world. In this mode, you can't destroy the blocks directly and can't ruin that particular map that is created by another player.
SPECTATOR MODE
You can see some YouTubers can fly and explore the specific map, which is called Spectator Mode. Here you can see other players' playing styles and learn their strategies but you can not interact in this mode with other players who are currently playing.

Minecraft also has a Chinese version that you probably don't know. Because of their population and craze for gaming, China is one of the largest video game markets. That's why gaming companies don't afraid to make a different version only for Chinese because they also try different games. That is the main reason when the Minecraft Chinese version was released, it was one of the best-selling games.
2. MINECRAFT: STORY MODE
Minecraft also has a separate story mode like a different game made in Minecraft universe as episodic form. This particular game was made by Telltale Games in 2015. But after 2019, the support ends from Telltale games but you can still play a cracked version of this game.
3. ON NETFLIX
Netflix and Telltale had a deal in 2018 to post Minecraft story mode on Netflix. After that, Telltale games got bankrupt but still, some employees of Telltale games completed the series and posted it on Netflix. So, it is on Netflix now, you can watch it if you want.
