13 Years of IPL: 2008-2020, who has been the owner of the orange cap in the last 13 years?

Starting in 2008, this year, the IPL fell in ten years. The tournament has gained a reputation as the biggest tournament in T20 cricket in the last ten years. Players from all the famous countries of the cricket world have played on the stage of this IPL. And still playing.

Shaun Marsh scored 618 runs in 11 matches for Kings XI Punjab in the opening season of the IPL. Shaun Marsh's average during this IPL was 68.44, and his best score this season 115.  His Strike Rate was: 139.68.  Shaun Marsh got 5 half-centuries and 1 Hundred. He hit 59 fours and 26 six. Shaun Marsh's superb batting that year helped Punjab reach the semifinals.

Matthew Hayden (2009)

Famous Australian batsman Matthew Hayden scored 562 runs in 12 matches for Chennai in 2009. That year the orange Cap was on his head.

Sachin Tendulkar (2010)

 Sachin Tendulkar became the first Indian batsman to own an orange hat in the IPL. Tendulkar scored 618 runs in 15 matches that year.

Chris Gayle (2011)

 In 2011, Gayle also owned an orange hat for RCB. Gayle scored 808 for the first time this year to play for the Royal Challengers. Before that, he was a member of the KKR team.

Universal boss Chris Gayle scored 633 runs in 15 matches for the Royal Challengers in 2012. His average during this IPL was 67.55, and his best score this season 107.  His Strike Rate was: 183.13.  He got 3 half-centuries and 2 Hundred. He hit 57 fours and 44 six.

Mike Hussey (2013)

Michael Hussey has scored 633 runs in 18 matches for the currently suspended franchise Chennai. However, Chennai lost to Mumbai in the final that year.

Robin Uthappa (2014)

Robin Uthappa, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders, scored 60 runs in 16 matches in the 2014 IPL. KKR won the IPL that year.

David Warner (2015)

Sunrisers captain David Warner played 14 matches and scored 562 runs in 2015. The average was 43, and the strike rate was 156.

Virat Kohli (2017)

Royal Challengers captain Virat Kohli broke all batting records in the IPL in 2016. He scored 963 runs in one season, with 4 centuries. No one in the history of IPL has scored so many runs in one season.

Kane Williamson (2018)

Kane Williamson Sunrisers Hyderabad's batsman and won the Orange cap with 735 runs from 17 matches. Kane Williamson's average during this IPL was 52.5, and his best score this season 84.  His Strike Rate was: 142.44.  Kane Williamson got 8 half-centuries and O Hundred. He hit 64 fours and 28 six.

David Warner (2019)

Sunrisers captain David Warner played 12 matches and scored 692 runs in 2019. David Warner's average during this IPL was 69.2, and his best score this season 100.  His Strike Rate was: 143.87.  David Warner got 8 half-centuries and 1 Hundred. He hit 57 fours and 21 six.

KL Rahul (2020)

KL Rahul Kings XI Punjab batsman and won the Orange cap with 670 runs from 14 matches. His average during this IPL was 55.83, and his best score this season 132.  His Strike Rate was: 129.34.  He got 5 half-centuries and 1 Hundred. He hit 58 fours and 23 six.
