Last season CSK did not have their best players like Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo Suresh Raina, opted out of the team due to personal reasons, Dwayne bravo ruled out due to a groin injury after playing six matches. All all-rounders of this team played an important role for the team. CSK has many brilliant all-rounders like Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina , Ravindra Jadeja, and Sam Curran The franchisee also bought two more all-rounders during IPL auctions- Krishnappa Goutham and Moeen Ali. Csk has qualified for the playoff of all-season except 2020. Last season was not so good for CSK but csk is likely to give a better performance than last season.
2. Royal challengers Bangalore
Rcb is a strong team. it gave a tough competition with another team. But RCB never won the trophy of IPL. RCB have brilliant batsmen like ab de Villiers, virat kohli, devdutt padikal . for bowling attacks Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Adam Zampa, Mohammad Siraj. But this year more players joined the team like Glenn Maxwell, Daniel Christian, Kylejamison. RCB has their first match with the defending champions Mumbai Indians on 9th April in Chennai. Rcb may have higher chances of qualifying for the playoff of this year.
3. MUMBAI INDIANS
Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in IPL history. mi have experienced players in their team that's why the owner did not make any changes to the squad in 2021. MI has powerful batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock, Ishan Kishan, and Surya Kumar Yadav. For bowling attacks, MI has top-class bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, Nathan Coulter- Nile, and Trent Boult. now, adam Milne has also joined the team. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard are outstanding all-rounders in MI. hence, MI has a very solid squad and MI may reach the finals this year as well.
4. Delhi Capitals
Delhi capital is a team of youngsters. last season Delhi capital played the final for the first time. They were defeated by MI in the final. Delhi has a good batting lineup like Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi saw, Shimron Hetmyer, Rishabh pant. Delhi has strong all-rounders like Stoinis, Axar Patel, Ishant Sharma, Kagiso Rabada, and Chris Woakes are some great pacers. Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin are experienced, spin bowlers. this year Shreyas Iyer will not part of the Delhi capitals due to injury. so, the franchise chooses Rishabh Pant as a new captain. Therefore, Delhi capital is a strong team in IPL 2021, and hence, DC likely to reach the playoffs and in the IPL.
5. Sunrises Hyderabad
Hyderabad is the most consistent team for the last five years. After winning the IPL in 2016. sunrises have qualified for playoffs in every season. Sunrises Hyderabad is a strong team with many consistent players. That’s why the owner retained most of the players in the team for IPL 2021. Sunrises Hyderabad has a good batting lineup like David warner, Jonny Bairstow, and Manish Pandey. For bowling, Bhubaneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Rashid khan. Therefore sunrises Hyderabad is predictable to enter the playoff in IPL 2021.
