The beautiful and fabled land of India is understood for its extremes, history, and massive diversity. The country remains one of the foremost popular travel destinations within the world and attracts backpackers, cultural and spiritual seekers, and just those searching for an honest party. Because it is also the birthplace of yoga, it comes as no surprise that many travelers travel across the world experience a yoga retreat in India. Like it or hate it, your trip to India is bound to be one of the foremost memorable experiences of your life. I've been privileged to possess spent a few years in this incredible country. From my time here, these are my recommendations for the most extraordinary and most beautiful places to go to in India.

 

 

1.Chadar Trek – Ladakh

Chadar Trek is that the fantastic ice trek over the frozen Zanskar river in breathtaking Ladakh. 2.Munnar – Kerala

Munnar hill station is situated at around 1,600 meters in the Western Ghats range of mountains in the Idukki district of Kerala. India's largest tea-growing region is also known for wild forests, wildlife, valleys, and mountains.

 

 

3.Palolem Beach – Goa

Palolem beach is one of Goa's most postcard-perfect beaches, situated within the Canacona. The beach is featured together of the gorgeous beaches altogether of Goa, surrounded by lofty headlands and contains rocks jutting.

 

 

4.Chilika Lagoon – Odisha

Chilika brackish water lagoon is the second largest lagoon globally and, therefore, the largest coastal lagoon in India. The lake hosts 100 species of migratory and domestic birds and consequently the first Indian wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention site.

 

 

5.Majuli – Assam

The largest river island in the world, Majuli is situated within the upper reaches of the river Brahmaputra in Assam. Majuli island may be a bird lover's paradise, natural beauty, colorful culture of the tribes, and wildlife.

 

 

6.Matheran – Maharashtra

Matheran is that the smallest hill station in India, located on the Western Ghats home in Karjat. It's a well-liked weekend getaway for Mumbai and Pune people and famous for 38 designated look-out points, 360-degree view, sunset, and sunrise.

 

 

7.Sand Dunes – Rajasthan

Sand Dunes in Rajasthan are mounts of sand and one of the major tourist attractions near Jaisalmer. Khuri dunes and Sam Sand Dunes in the outskirts of Jaisalmer are very popular among tourists.

 

 

8.Palani Hill Falls – Kodaikanal

The Palani Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and the park are home to many of the foremost prominent falls within the state. Many waterfalls are popular tourist attractions like Bear Shola Falls, Anthony Falls, Neptune Falls, Palar Upper Falls, Thalia Falls, and Silver Cascade.

 

 

9.Rohtang Pass – Manali

Rohtang Pass may be a high pass on the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas that connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. The key is merely open from May to November and is the gateway to Lahaul and Spiti valleys in Himachal Pradesh.

 

 

10.Three Oceans – Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin is the only place in India where three seas meet, and one can see sunrise and sunset. Kanyakumari is the meeting point of three oceans Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea.
