1. Lone Star

Known as Lone star with a motto “Friendship” Texas is stretching 268,601 square miles, enough to fit 220 Rhode island, from end to end, and nearly 25 million Texans populate it. The state has joined the United States since December 29, 1845, and they are proud of their mockingbird, Pecan tree, and bluebonnet flowers. The state has loads of it.

2. Austin Town Lake

In Texas, the most crowded population can be found in Houston, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, and forth Worth. Austin is the capital city, and the state has more farm areas than any other state in the US, and King Ranch is the biggest of them. King Ranch is bigger than Rhode Island, and it extends over 6 counties.

President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Lyndon B. Johnson were coming from Texas. Before joining the US, Texas was owned by Mexico in the early 1800s. Mexican-American war in 1846-1848 ended its settlement. Sam Houston is an important figure in the history and freedom of Texas.

U.S. History has recorded 2-time major catastrophes that happened in Texas. The first one is a giant hurricane and flood that hit Galveston in 1900 and F5 Tornado that hit Waco 53 years later. Galveston hurricane killed 8,000 lives and the F5 Tornado at Waco killed 114 lives.

Central Texas is known as “The Silicon Valley of the South”. Famous Tech companies headquartered in this area include Dell, Motive, National Instrument, and many other more.
