Finally, the Indian soldiers have their self messaging apps like WhatsApp and telegram. 

Now Indian soldiers can use their self messaging app for communication. It's big news, and now the Indian army is more capable of keeping their information safe from the attackers. This SAI app is introduced by col. Ray Shankar. The actual full name of the app is Secured Application Internet.

 

Use Of SAI

SAI is just similar to WhatsApp messenger, Telegram, Facebook messenger, and other messages. The total information of text, video, and audio messages are going through end to end encryption. The whole information is stored in In-House-server with the help of coding. All the information is kept secure and regulated through the Indian government and updated from time to time if necessary. 

SAI is currently working on the android platform, and they are creating for the IOS platform. It is highly effective to avoid weapon attacks and cyber-attacks and to keep information private

According to the statement, the application has been vetted by the CERT-in empaneled auditor and Army Cyber Group. The process for filling Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) hosting the infrastructure on NIC. SAI is similar to commercially available messaging applications like WhatsApp, Telegram, SAMVAD, and GIMS and utilizes end-to-end encryption protocol. SAI scores on security features with local In-house-servers and coding which can e tweaked as per requirement," the Indian army said in a statement
