Why is Women's Day So Special 2021

History

International Women's Day was held on March 8 ,1914 in Germany and now it is always held on March 8 in all countries. It was dedicated to women's right to vote, which German women did not win until 1918.

There are so many women across the globe who have achieved impossible things. Gone are the days when women used to be confined in their homes and were known for only taking care of the family, cooking food, washing utensils, taking care of the husband and the in-laws. Listening to harsh comments from the family.

Today the scenario has completely changed. Women walk now with men toe-to-toe, smashing patriarchal customs and stereotypes, to do something extraordinary and make their name in the world.
