What is the reason to celebrate Deepavali

It is believed that Rama of Ayodhya came back on the day of Diwali after his fourteen years of exile. The hearts of the Ayodhya residents were elated with the arrival of their beloved king. Ayodhya people lit ghee lamps to welcome Shri Ram. That night of the dark black moon of Kartik month was illuminated by the light of the lamps. Since then, Indians celebrate this festival of light with joy and gaiety every year. Indians believe that truth forever wins, lies perish.  this is what Diwali signifies - Asato Ma Sadgamaya, Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay. Deepawali is a festival of cleanliness and light. Preparations for Deepawali begin several weeks past. People start cleaning their homes, shops etc. The work of repairing, painting, lighting etc. starts within the homes. people additionally decorate the outlets cleanly. The streets within the markets are decorated with golden flags. Even before Diwali, houses, neighborhoods, markets all appear clean and well-decorated.

 

 

Complete method of Deepawali Puja

First of all, put a statue of Ganesh ji and Lakshmi Mata in the middle of a red cloth laying a red cloth on the outpost. Carefully extend Lakshmi ji to the right side of Ganesh ji and keep the face of both the idols towards east or west direction. Now in front of

Both the idols, keep a few rupees of gold, silver gratings and 5 silver coins as per your wish. This silver coin is the form of Kubera Ji. On the right side of the idol of Lakshmi, make an Ashtadal from the untouched, that is, the eight directions made out of the middle with the finger, then place the urn filled with water on it. Put a little sandalwood Durva Panchratna betel betel nut or banana leaves inside the Kalash and keep the coconut tied to the molly in it. Fill a pot of water, that is, clean water in a water vessel, and tie a molly in it and mix a little Ganga water in it. After this, place the plate of the rest of the material in front of the outpost. Add desi ghee in two big lamps and prepare a filling of mustard oil in eleven small lamps. Make a seat next to the outpost for all the people of the house to sit. Keep in mind that all these works have to be done before the auspicious time starts. Before the start of auspicious time, all the people of the house should take a bath and get ready by wearing new clothes and do asanas.

 

 

Why we make rangoli in Deepavali

On the day of Diwali, Rangoli is made at the main gate for the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi in the house. Rangoli signifies prosperity and auspiciousness and also removes negative energy from homes. Most swastikas, lotus flowers or footprints of Lakshmi are made in Rangoli
