Why do we celebrate national education day.

Why do we celebrate national education day?

Education is a very important part of life. Every people of India have the right to be educated. Because only education helps the country to develop. Education gives you certain scopes, Professional degrees. The degrees and scopes are so much respect.

Nowadays, if you are not educated, then other people can get rid of your illiteracy. But, if you are educated, then no one would be able to make a fool of you.

In our country, earlier there was a rule that women have no right to be educated. They were only supposed to cook food for family members and live only as housewives. They were even not allowed to touch the books. But, if women will be educated, then they can educate their whole family and society.

Even there are some people, who don't educate their children. They just want to make them engaged in any other business, which is wrong. Nowadays, many parents want to educate their children, which is the right decision. This shows that how much important is education.

To encourage the spreading of education and awareness of being educated, the ministry of human resources announced 11th November as national education day in India. This day represents the birth anniversary of Dr. Maulana Azad Abdul Kalam.

Maulana Azad Abdul Kalam was a journalist, poet, and philosopher. He used to write poems, philosophy, and he also published newspapers.

The name of the newspaper published by him was Al- Hilal. This newspaper encouraged Hindu and Muslims to be in unity.

After independence, he was the first education minister of India. He was also a freedom fighter.

His efforts show, how he used to do hard work during his days, and his poetry, the articles, and the philosophy he used to publish show the importance of education.

On these days, several educational programs are to be carried out in the school to show the importance of education against the society.

In our country, mostly peoples are uneducated. Some want to be illiterate, some want to be literate, but their financial conditions are not good. On this day, central and state education ministries come up with new reforms and announcements related to study.

In earlier days, people belonging to a minority were not allowed to study. They were supposed to be illiterate only. But the government has come up with several schemes to help such people to be literate, and they can build their careers.

But, many people want to make their children to be engaged in a normal business, whatever their parents do. This is wrong.

The overall aim of the announcement of national education day on 11th November is to spread the awareness of education in society.

Being a parent, nobody would think that, their child would be illiterate. Especially women education should be focused more. Because women are the infrastructure of the growing society.

One should know the importance of education. Not only the central and state education ministries, should take steps in spreading awareness of education, but even society should also take certain steps to curb illiteracy and spread awareness of education.

So don't laugh at the illiterate people, try them to educate. Education doesn't depend on age, it only depends on your mentality.

This is all about National education day.
