The 2020 United States of America presidential election was the 59th quadrennial election. Quadrennial means to recur every four years. It was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Former vice president Joe Biden's Democratic ticket, and the U.S.A senator from California Kamala Harris, defeated the Republican ticket of incumbent President Donald Trump's and vice president Mike Pence. Incumbent means reigning or simply that he is currently in power.
