Top 10 Best Electronic Artists

Producers Guy-Manuel de Said above and Thomas Bangalter started the French electronic music group Daft Punk.

I've been introduced to music by Daft Punk. Nowadays, all other electronic "music" simply sounds like a montage of noise that belongs in a "Call of Duty" game. Unlike the other music being created today by the best "artists" in the world, Daft Punk's music has soul. I pick examples from artists since it is not music when individuals attempt to read subpar poetry while a metronome muffles their vocals. The same is true for those who believe that Daft Punk's use of computer sounds in their songs is superior than using actual instruments. They've transformed everything they've touched upon and struck every genre square on. They rank among the legendary, if not above them.

Because in these contemporary times where fame and fortune are frequently the ultimate goals of modern musicians, Daft Punk is unquestionably quite unique. Except for Daft Punk, who managed to achieve this level of perfection with their own modern genre, this attitude and culture sadly deprives us of legends equal to the legends of the 1960s through the 1990s. The main distinction is that they do this out of a real desire to produce excellent music for us, the fortunate fools who get to benefit from their musical generosity. Since becoming wealthy and famous is not on their agenda, receiving those millions as collateral for their actual purposes is a welcome bonus that is much merited.

It was quite terrible to watch them fade away, depriving us of one of the few surviving music gods throughout history.

Without a question, Daft Punk deserves to be at the top of any list of the greatest EDM artists. Electronic music can be great and fun to listen to, as Thomas and Guy-Man have demonstrated to a large audience of listeners of all ages. They're much liked even by those who don't often listen to techno music! Homework, their debut album, is unquestionably a fantastic 90s dance record. Discovery (my personal favourite) is a great dancing record, but it also has a lot of passion. Even if Human After All isn't their greatest, it demonstrates their exploratory nature, and Random Access Memories does a fantastic job of paying respect to the 1970s dance music that had an impact on today's dance music. Despite being machines, they actually possess a soul, songs that make you dance or are beautiful to the ears have emotion in them. Their music seems to be something ageless that came from outer space since it never actually ages. Whether you're listening at home or dancing in a club, "Get Lucky" or "One More Time" is playing. Definitely unique is the music of Daft Punk.

Without these men, electronic music would not exist. Today, everyone basically plays the same monotonous sound, and electro musicians lack originality. On the other hand, Daft Punk are distinctive. Out of all of today's DJs, these men have the greatest music and the most talent. They not only formalised the genre, but they are also its masters. Go perish in a hole if you arrogantly claim to appreciate and listen to this style of music without understanding who Daft Punk are. Period!
