Which statue of India is best?

Over the past few years, the government of India has spent money on statues one after the other. Somewhere 3 thousand crores, while somewhere 4 thousand crores. 

We don't know that how many more statues are being planned by the government.

We all know that all the money for those statues is comes from public taxes.

Now, one question arises in your mind that is there possible to build a statue that provides great tourism attraction? If not then our tax money got wasted.

This place exists 52 km from Trivandrum airport in Kerala, India.

This statue has many unique features as compared to any other normal statue.

 

Unique features of the Jatayu Statue

1. 100% privately funded

The first unique feature of that is the entire statue and its nearby surroundings are 100 percent privately funded.

There's even no 1 paisa of our government included in that statue. 

 

2. Low budget

The whole area around the statue is covered with a forest. There's also a temple as well. An adventure park was also made there.

The entire places were made in just about 100 crores rupees. Just think how's the money is properly utilized so that they were able to build so many things at a low budget.

 

3. Uniqueness

Another special feature about the statue is its design and its uniqueness. You might not ever see such a type of statue anywhere in India or even the rest of the world.

You may be surprised when you know the statue can change its color according to the weather conditions. It looks reddish at the sunset while in cloudy weather it looks grey.

 

4. Forest

We all know that normally forest cleared and lots of trees are cut down to make any statue.

But a forest grew to build such a statue.

Before that forest the land is barren. There were not many trees.

5. Water harvesting system

Before that forest, the field was barren, and also not any good source of water there. Some water is stored only in the rainy season. Therefore, it's was not good for the trees.

So, there also made a rainwater harvesting system which saves 15 lakhs liters of water. The depth of the harvesting system is about 30 feet.

6. Caves 

There are many caves around the near places, which do not destroy while building the statue. 

Even such caves have been converted into beautiful attractions. 

 

7. Temple 

About a thousand feet above the ground level there is a temple that is in construction.

8. The adventure park

The adventure park made there have fifteen different activities to do for example archery, shooting, log walk, rappelling, etc.

 

About its designer

Mr. Rajiv Anchal Ji, the person who has designed this sculpture.

He learned to sculpt from the college of fine arts, Trivandrum. He then made his living as an art director in films.

During their work, he kept making statues. 

He got an opportunity to participate in a copy of Kerala tourism. He did a project in which he won.

His design in that project was the Jatayu Statue itself.

 

Origin of statue

Many of us know that Jatayu did an amazing job. He tried to save Sita Ji. 

This is a relevant topic for women. Rajiv Anchal Ji says that I cannot show the pain of Jatayu, that he needed to suffer at that time, so I chose this statue.
