Nowadays, obesity is a big problem, especially in the present time, i.e., in Kovid 19 when we are all sitting in our homes. Then we feel more earthquakes and do not stop eating, and further increasing the amount of sugar in the body can cause diabetes problems.

Having diabetes means that we have to eat insulin tablets to meet insulin deficiency and insulin deficiency. Now when you are about to take insulin tablets, you think which insulin tablet will be better for you, then I should tell you that rapid onset-fast acting insulin will be an effective solution for you.

Rapid onset-fast acting insulin always looks right. It works very fast and starts working within one to 20 minutes. It peaks after about an hour and lasts for three to five hours. When you use this type of insulin, you should eat it immediately after injecting it.

There are two currently available rapid onset-fast acting insulin variants:

  1. Novorapid (Insulin aspart)

  2. We (lispro).

  Short-acting insulin

Short-acting insulin always seems obvious. They start lowering blood sugar levels within half an hour, so you need to have your injection half an hour before eating.

Short-acting insulin has a maximum effect in two to four hours and lasts between six and eight hours. Currently, available short-acting insulin types include:

  1. Actrapied

  2. Hamlin

  3. Hypurin neutral (bovine - highly purified beef insulin).

  Intermediate-acting insulin

Intermediate-acting insulin is always cloudy. They have either protamine or zinc added to delay their action. These insulin start working approximately 90 minutes after your injection, peaking in four to 12 hours and lasting 16 to 24 hours.

  Currently, available intermediate-acting insulin includes:

  1. With protamine - protophen, Hamlin NPH, and hypurin isophene (bovine).

  Diabetes prevention

You have to keep an eye on your blood sugar level and treat your diabetes throughout your life. If you do not have good control of your blood sugar, you will be at risk of damage to blood vessels and nerves, with problems such as vision deterioration, stroke, kidney disease, and infection.

As your doctor has already explained, in most cases, careful diet and pills are required. If you are overweight, simply eating less and losing weight may be enough to make insulin work more effectively.

  Why use an insulin pump?

The number of people using insulin pump therapy to control diabetes is increasing rapidly; Around 250,000 people worldwide use insulin pumps. Their reasons for choosing a pump are many, but generally, "pumpers" all agree that it gives them tighter control and more flexibility in their schedule and lifestyle. This control and flexibility include the following advantages:

  1. Eat whenever you want

  2. Worrying less about low blood sugar ("hypoglycemia")

  3. Live life on your own terms, no schedule of snacks and shots

Several scientific studies show that insulin pump therapy results in better outcomes for adolescents and adults with type 1 diabetes. Some studies suggest insulin pump therapy works well in children and pre-school children.
