What is the difference between cow and buffalo milk.

You must have heard about cow and buffalo milk.Whose milk comes in your house,plese tell us by commenting in the comment section.Today I am going to tell you the difference between cow and buffalo milk.

Cow milk is one of the most basic foods consumed all over the world.Itis pale yellow in color and has a low percentage of fat.The cow milk is the most commonly consumed milk by human.As per reports of FOOD AND AGRICULTURE AND ORGANISATION of the United Nations,more than 80% of milk is consumed throughout the world is obtained from cows and around 11% comes from buffalo.It is used to make chenna that is used in the prepration of desserts like rasgulla,rasmalai and sandesh.

Buffalo food is one of the most basic foods consumed  all over the world.It is white in collor and has a higher percentage of fat and thus it is thick in consistency than cow's milk.Being creamier and thicker,Buffalo milk is used in preparation of heavy foods like paneer,curd,kheer,ghee etc.

Cow's milk is beneficial for healthy bones,dental health,obesity reduction in children,protection  from thyroid and protection of heart.

Buffalo's milk is good for healthy bones dental health,cardiovascula health and weight gain.

Cow's milk is slightly less thick and Buffalo milk is thicker and buffalo milk has some difficulty in digestion.Buffalo milk has more calories than cow milk because of a higher protein and fat content.Cow milk tends to have a higher water content as compared to Buffalo milk.Cow's milk are used more than buffalo milk.In hindu mythology cow is treated as mother and its milk is mostly used in worship of Gods.

Cows milk is used more in big countries like America and England ,while Buffalo milk is used in more countries like India,Pakistan,China and some parts of Bangaladesh.Children should always  be fed cow's milk only because the digestive system of the children is weak and children cannot easily digest buffalo milk.
