The food that we eat daily from the markets like a burger, pizza, noodles, etc., is known as junk food or fast food. 

Fast foods are generally prepared at wayside eating stalls and cheap restaurants. They are ill-cooked and prepared in unhygienic conditions. 

Children copy the trend from the movies. The way we dress has almost no bearing on our health. But, the type of food that we eat directly affects our health. 

These types of foods cause harm to our physical growth. They also affect our liver and digestive system. 

Today, there is a trend of junk food. It is a matter of concern that thousands of children across the country are taking to fast foods at the expense of their health. 

Due to the intake of fast foods, Many schoolchildren are suffering from obesity and high blood pressure. They are becoming lazier and lazier and disease-prone.

 

What are junk foods? 

The food we eat from the markets, like pizza, burgers, noodles, etc., are all included in the junk foods. Many people prepare these junk foods at home. 

Children have a habit of eating junk foods daily. They eat these foods from the eating stalls and small restaurants. Sometimes, they prepare them in their home. They are not able to spend a day without these types of foods. 

 

Preparing junk foods. 

Mostly the junk foods are prepared in a very hasty and slipshod manner. They are generally prepared at the wayside eating stalls and in small restaurants. 

They are ill-cooked and prepared in unhygienic conditions. They are also very oily and spicy. 

Junk foods are also prepared at home. Children make Maggi noodles, French fries, burgers, etc. also at home. 

The junk foods prepared at home are a little bit good than the prepared at the eating stalls. They are prepared in a good way at home, but they are also oily and spicy. So, we cannot say that homemade junk foods are good for health. 

 

Why do we prepare and eat junk foods? 

Due to the fast pace of life, we have taken to foods that can be cooked fast and eaten fast. But, we must remember that anything done fast doesn't last long. A food that is cooked with undue haste loses much of its value and taste. 

Junk foods are delicious. Due to this taste, we affect our whole future. 

With the desire to save time and eat tasty food, we affect our children's whole lives. Our today's action has an opposite reaction shortly. 

 

Its effects on the health of children. 

Junk foods have so many effects on the health of children. Some of them are as follows:

Growth:

Junk foods affect the physical growth of children. They do not contain the nutrients which are essential for the growth of children. These types of foods make the children physically weak. 

High blood pressure and heart problems :

These junk foods also cause high blood pressure and any type of heart problems to the children. Many children across the world are suffering from heart problems due to the use of these junk foods. 

Other diseases:

Junk foods also cause many other diseases. The intake of junk foods by the children leading to many other diseases like diabetes and obesity etc., at an early age. 

These junk foods cause harm to our liver and digestive system. They can also give us ulcers and even cancer. 

 

Replace them with healthy food. 

Junk foods have so many ill effects on our health. So, why we use them in our life? We need to replace them with healthy food. 

It is difficult for today's generation to change their habit of eating junk foods to eating healthy foods. 

But to save our future from the effects of these junk foods, we have to do it. 

Despite eating a burger, pizza, potato fries, etc. We should eat healthy and homemade food. We should eat fruits, vegetables and drink juice which has not any harmful effect on our health.

 

Importance of healthy food. 

The food we made at home is safe and prepared in a hygienic way, which has no harmful effect on our body. 

Fruits and vegetables also help in our physical growth. Fruits, green vegetables, and juices contain many types of vitamins and minerals, which are essential for the proper functioning of our body. 

So, to stay healthy, eat healthily and home-made food with some exercise daily. 

Finally, I want to say that junk food that is not good for our health, which provides us so many diseases, even which can affect our future, is not used daily in our lives. We also need to stop today's generation from eating these types of junk foods and make them aware of the effects of junk foods on our life and health. On the other hand, healthy foods provide us nutrients, which are good for our health. It is essential to include these healthy foods in our daily diet to stay fit and healthy. It is essential for today's generation to understand the effects of junk food and life with healthy food.
