What is Generation Z, why do today's youth need it?

Generally, every generation feels that its period is the most difficult, but for the youth of Generation Z (those born between 1997 and 2012), who is graduating from college and entering the labor market, this can be justified.  Can  A few months back I read a professor's tweet.  He wrote that when he taught at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, one of his female students complained that her parents "have no idea how complicated and stressful the world has become."

' When the professor told the student that her parents had gone through a civil war in Lebanon, she said, 'That's true but we have the Internet and things like that.  ' Horse sounds funny but Generation Z is going through a really tough time;  Even if the situation is not like a violent civil war.  A pandemic like Kovid's became a big obstacle for his college and school life.  And as they take steps toward building a career, they are entering uncertain times in an economy where a recession could strike at any moment.  Its consequences can be far-reaching.  Graduating during a recession means decades of lower income.

On top of that, due to the Covid crisis during the college term, students were deprived of social behavior and could not learn how to organize their time and how to interact with adults.  It is possible to prosper even in the current economic situation, but for this, the youth must learn this To think that you can never fail is a harmful myth.  The truth is that the more risks you take, the more you learn and the more successful you are.  Abigail Baird, professor of psychology at Vassar College in New York, says that risk-taking is an important part of intellectual development in adolescence.  Pushing your limits and facing failure teaches you how to deal with risks and negative consequences as you age.  If you don't take risks at this age, it will become difficult for you to take risks as you grow older.  Generation Z joining the working class has to accept that their first job is not their destiny.  And if the prospect of a recession is making it difficult for you to find the job you want, it's also worth noting that a slowing economy is the time when opportunities for new ventures and reorganizations are found.  We often hear about low wage earners who quickly find themselves in jobs that don't require a degree, but  To think that you can never fail is a harmful myth.  The truth is that the more risks you take, the more you learn and the more successful you are.

They do not understand that graduates get better jobs and have better growth opportunities.  Even in times of recession, their unemployment rate is low.  A career is for life.  As far as learning is concerned, any job will do, but when you have learned, just go ahead with the job instead of overthinking.  Good careers also have some downsides, such as layoffs, getting fired, and trying different jobs that may not be right for you.  Contrary to popular belief, the new generation does not change jobs more often than the previous generation.  Traditionally, changing jobs is a way to increase pay and advance in a career.  And while technology is a burden, it also brings with it many possibilities.

Connecting with new people or keeping in touch with old co-workers can help you build your network, which may lead to your next job.  Hopefully, Generation Z will find a way to stay away from the growing tendency to avoid risk.  It is clear in the current economic situation that even if you are doing everything right, there is no guarantee.  Many companies that were considered highly opportunistic, such as banks and tech companies, are either laying off or not hiring at all.  The Covid crisis has left many young graduates behind and disheartened, but this points to the need to adapt quickly to new technologies and learn how to deal with job market turbulence.
