After 332 BCE, Hellenistic astrology in Alexandria combined Babylonian astrology with Egyptian Decanic astrology, resulting in horoscopic astrology. The invasion of Asia by Alexander the Great allowed astrology to expand to Ancient Greece and Rome.Astrology is considered pseudoscientific by the scientific community since it lacks explanatory ability for describing the universe.
