What happened to the three cows

Once upon a time, three cows lived in a green and fresh meadow near the forest: a white cow, a black cow and a red-brown cow. The cows were kind to each other. They grazed together in the pasture and slept close to each other.

One day, a red-brown lion wandered from the forest to the meadow. It was hungry and looking for prey. It was happy as soon as it saw the cows, but could not attack them, because they were together. So, the lion sat behind a rock and waited patiently until the cows separated from each other.

However, the cows were too clever to separate each other. They knew that if they were together, no predator could attack them. The lion hid nearby for two or three days. But the cows remained together, and did not separate from each other. The lion lost patience. It thought of a plan. It went towards the cows, greeted them, "How are you my friends? Are you well? I have been busy lately, so I could not visit you. Today I have made up my mind to visit you."

The red-brown cow said, "Sir, your arrival has really pleased us and brightened our meadows."

Both the white and black cows were troubled by the words of their friend, the red-brown cow, and saddened by its thoughtlessness. They said to each other, “Why does the red-brown cow believe what the lion says?

Don't you know that lions seek out other animals only to hunt themselves?

As the days passed, the red-brown cow clung more and more to the lion. The black cow and the white cow advised against friendship with the lion, but their efforts were in vain.

One day, the lion said to the red-brown cow, "You know that our body color is dark and the white cow's body color is light. You know that light color is the opposite of dark color. It is very good if I eat the white cow, so that there will be no more difference between us and we Able to live well together.

The red-brown cow accepted the lion's argument and started talking to the black cow to keep it busy so that the lion could eat the white cow. The white cow was left alone and killed, while the black and red-brown cows were engaged in idle conversation.

Two or three days passed since the lion ate the white cow. It was hungry again. It was called the red-brown cow. The cow replied: "Yes sir!"

The lion said, "Both my body color and your body color are red-brown, and black does not go with our color. It would be very good if I ate a black cow, so that we would all be of the same color in this forest." The red-brown cow accepted this argument and moved away from the black cow.

The lion soon attacked and devoured the black cow. And as for the red-brown cow, it was so full of joy that it did not know what to do. It roamed and grazed and said to itself, "Only I have the color of a lion."

After a few days, the lion was hungry again. It roared and said, "O red-brown cow! Where are you?" The red-brown cow shuddered in fear and stepped forward, "Yes sir!" said that.

The lion said: "Today is your turn. Get ready, I'm going to eat you."

The red-brown cow, in great fear and dread, said, "Why, sir, I am your friend. I have done whatever you tell me to do. Yet why do you want to eat me?"

The lion roared, "I have no friends. How can a lion befriend a cow?"

No matter how much the red-brown cow begged and begged, the lion did not accept its words. Finally the cow said, "Mr. Lion, please let me cry three times before you eat me."

The lion said, "Okay, quick, quick!" Said that.

The red-brown cow shouted, "I was eaten the day the white cow was eaten. I was eaten the day the black cow was eaten. I was eaten the day I befriended the lion."

The lion ate the red-brown cow very quickly
