Is it the fault of Bus?

The school bus was moving amidst the chirpy sound of children sitting in it. The bus was thinking what a pleasant journey it has been for her to work in such a lively atmosphere created by young ones.

She felt pity for other buses who transport boring adult passengers. The bus felt satisfied as she has always taken every care of the comfort of children during the drive. She came out of thoughts with a sudden thumping sound.

The driver has driven the bus into a mud pothole. He was a new driver, and despite his several efforts, he could not pull the bus out of the mud pothole. The children started getting late to school. After all efforts, the driver could not pull bus out and called the school authorities to send another bus for children.


But Bus was assured of coming out of the pothole. All it wanted, a little more effort from its driver. But he gave up. It has never happened in the entire career that children could not reach school well on time when driven by it. The school bus was getting sad, but the fact that it was not its mistake but that of the driver’s relieved it.

They pulled the bus from the pothole with the help of a rope by a recovery van. They took the bus to the mechanic’s shop to fix the minor glitches. Then from there, they drove it back to school. In the afternoon, it struck the last bell of the day. Little children started running towards the school bus, but, as they were about to board the bus, the driver stopped them and instead told to board another bus.


Then, the driver went on telling another person standing beside him that this bus is old now; it feels when you drive it. And today, after my best efforts, this bus could not pull itself out from under the pothole. So, I recommended to the school’ authorities to sell this bus, or if it doesn’t get sold, we should give it to junk dealers.


The school bus was shaking with anger for the driver, as it was all because of his mistake, and he told authorities the whole distinct thing. The little ones shouted, we will go on this bus only, this This made the school bus happy, but their teachers asked children to board another bus as the school authorities told them it was not safe anymore to travel in, “The school bus.”

The school bus stood and thought how would it survive without carrying the children. The idea of transporting people other than children made it very sad. So, the school bus stood in the same manner for a few days, but no buyer turned out despite advertisements given by authorities in local newspapers; and other channels. One day, two authority members came to inspect the bus and discussed that as no buyer has turned out, so they should give it to the junk dealer.


So, one of them called the junk dealer who told them that; he could only come the next day. The bus got frightened as it had listened to horrific things about scrap dealers that how they demolish the entire body of vehicles and sell distinct parts. The next day arrived, and so did the junk dealer.


As the junk dealer was to pull the bus away, came a person who said he wanted to have a look at the bus so he could decide on buying it. The person had a thorough look and handed over money to the authorities, did the paperwork, and drove away with the bus.


He took the bus to a garage and asked to give it a makeover and fix all issues the bus was having. Within a week, the bus was ready to ply on the road again. That person came back, paid money to the mechanics, and told them he would start a new business of organizing knowledge tour of the city for small children, and thus he needed this bus to transport them.

The school bus became thrilled after listening to this. Next day was the first day of the tour. They decorated the school bus with flowers and were ready to board the children. The entire day passed by, but nobody arrived for the tour. Four days passed, but nobody was there. It upset the owner, driver, and bus. On the fifth day in the morning, a group of children enrolled for the tour.

The school bus and all became excited. The tour started, and the children enjoyed it very much during the complete day. The Bus was on top of the world and satisfied. Soon, because of the quality of knowledge tour the business became a success. It’s another day, the bus is running amidst the sounds of children, thinking how wonderful to drive these young ones, the energized and cheerful ones.
