As mentioned before, the sources you use should be reliable: a They must be sites that use type checking and have a popular reputation for accurate and accurate reviews, such as: books published by major publishing houses, newspapers, magazines, scientific journals, the above websites and other websites that meet the same requirements as reputable publications. These sources include (but are not limited to) Non-public media (including, but not limited to) published books, blogs, online forums, Reddit discussions, personal social media, fan sites, and similar sites. If anyone can send a message without anyone checking it, the information will be unreliable. Likewise, opinion pieces in popular magazines do not help raise awareness.
Many websites contain user-generated content. Anyone can sign up and create content. This is true for all wikis, including Wikipedia. There's also IMDb, Goodreads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and social media like Twitter and Instagram. This resource is not available with certain features.
A good service to determine quality is WP:RSP. This does not include books or unquestioned reputable sources like the Associated Press. It covers many areas that are often problematic. If your source is listed on the page as “publicly discredited” or “deprecated,” you should not use it in your article.
The sources used to create information should be substantial: They should talk about your topic for some time, at least a few sentences. A phrase in a sentence or two or the appearance of your topic in a table or list is not enough to help create information.
Sites that are not off-topic or do not show significant service will still be used to support fact in your article, but will not count for views. Questionable information should never be used.
