What are the foods to eat to boost immunity during covid?

Immunity is needed to fight the coronavirus.  

Immunity is critical to fighting the coronavirus.  Eating a nutritious diet can boost the immune system. 

 

Pepper

We know that pepper is the best medicine.  Pepper is essential in boosting the immune system. When it comes to digestive problems, many people rely on pepper.  Chewing two or three peppercorns in the mouth will cure all digestive issues.  Pepper is very effective for coughs and colds. Pepper boosts the rate of metabolism in the body and also helps in eliminating unwanted calories. And also, pepper is rich in vitamin c.

 

Ginger and garlic

The mixture of ginger and garlic is like nectar to the body.  It is suitable for boosting the immune system.No matter how severe the body aches, taking this mixture will go a long way. There is no better medicine than squeezing the juice with a slice of ginger, a lemon, two or three cloves of garlic, and a carrot.  

 

Mint

From the earliest times, mint has been in our backyard as medicine within reach.  Tulsi is the queen of treatment.  Just chewing mint leaves on the stomach can help protect against colds and flu.  In the sore throat, boil mint leaves in water and apply them on the cheeks in a warm place.  It is very beneficial for asthma and bronchitis patients.  Headaches caused by heat are widespread.

Antioxidants form the immune system in our body. Eating foods rich in vitamins A, C, E, B 12 or folic acid and minerals - zinc, selenium, and copper, which act as antioxidants in this way - can help maintain a high level of immunity.  Various fruits such as oranges, mangoes, fruits papayas, vegetables such as pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, beetroot, leafy vegetables, and coriander are rich in vitamin A.

 

Include protein-rich egg whites, small fish, and legumes in your diet.  Drink up to 3 liters of water daily to keep the body hydrated.  Yogurt, butter, condiments, cakes made with fermented flour, idli, and bread have probiotic properties.  Care must be taken to ensure that these are also dishes on our table as it is essential to retain the bacteria that help indigestion.

Our RAINBOW DIET should include a variety of fruits and vegetables, such as rainbow colors, to ensure the availability of all nutrients as our body gets the nutrients it needs from various foods.  It is best to get 20 minutes of sunlight a day for vitamin D availability as vitamin D indirectly helps immunity.  Vitamin D supplemented oil, liver, and egg yolk can also be included in moderation.

 

Citrus fruits such as oranges, musubi, grapes, and lemons, as well as guava, kiwi, pineapple, strawberry, gooseberry, and capsicum (green, yellow, and red), are rich sources of vitamin C.Tomatoes contain lycopene in addition to vitamin C.  This nutrient, which gives the red color to vegetables, plays an essential role in preventing diseases.  Vegetable oils such as sunflower oil, olive oil, bran oil, whole grains, nuts, almonds, walnuts, and cashews contain vitamin E, zinc, and selenium.
