Vivo is coming back with its next NEX smartphone very soon. This smartphone is going to be called the Vivo NEX 3 and will succeed the Vivo NEX. Vivo has now confirmed that it will launch the Vivo NEX 3 on September 16 for the global market. The India launch timeline of the Vivo NEX 3 is yet to be revealed by the company. For now, there's no confirmation whether the smartphone will even hit the Indian stores or not. Ahead of the launch the full specs sheet of the Vivo NEX 3 has been leaked.
We have been hearing about the upcoming Vivo NEX 3 and its seamless "Waterfall screen" for a long time now. A new leak re-confirms that the Vivo NEX 3 will come with Waterfall display that will offer a screen resolution of 2256 x 1080 pixels and offer 99.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The NEX 3 will be the first smartphone from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer to come with such a display. Alongside the Vivo NEX 3, the company is also set to launch a 5G version of the Vivo NEX 3 called the Vivo NEX 3 on the slated date -- Sept 16.
Vivo NEX 3 leaked specs
All-in-all the Vivo NEX 3 will be a big upgrade over its predecessor. The leak suggests that the Vivo NEX 3 will come with a 6.89-inch display that offers a screen resolution of 2256 x 1080 pixels and 99.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The leaked specs sheet further reveals that the Vivo NEX 3 will come with 16MP selfie camera and triple camera setup on the back panel. On the rear panel, the Vivo NEX 3 will come with a primary 64MP sensor, secondary 13MP sensor and third is a 13MP sensor. On the hardware front, the Vivo NEX 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus. This will be the first smartphone from Vivo to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus.
The leak further suggests that the Vivo NEX 3 will come with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. All-in-all the Vivo NEX 3 will come in two RAM versions -- 8GB and 12GB and three storage versions -- 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. The smartphone is said to sport 4500mAh battery setup bundled with 44W fast charging support. The phone will include 3.5m headphone jack, USB Type C port in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC support, Glass body, among other things. The Vivo NEX 3 will come with 4G support. The Vivo NEX 3 5G will be the 5G version of the smartphone.
