Movie 1 # 3 idiots (2009) :-
This film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. In this film, Shah Rukh Khan was first offered the lead role of Rancho, and he rejected the film for the date issue. Later, Amir Khan played the character of Rancho. When the film was a huge hit, Shah Rukh Khan called himself '4th idiot' to get it to reject.
Movie 2 # Taare Zameen Par (2006) :-
This film is produced and directed by Amir Khan. It is initially offered to Shah Rukh Khan. He rejected this film, and later it becomes a big hit at the box office.
Movie 3 # Rang De Basanti (2006) :-
This film is written, produced, and directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and co-written by Rensil D'Silva. Like other films, it was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan, and for some unknown reason, he rejected it. Then Amir Khan immediately took this opportunity. This film won the BAFTA Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category as well as the Best Movie at the Filmfare Awards.
Movie 4 # Munna Bhai MBBS (2003):-
This is another film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. At first, Shah Rukh Khan was cast as Munna Bhai and Sanjay Dutt as Zaheer. Later, Shah Rukh Khan did not make this film because of his ill health, and Rajkumar Hirani decided to continue this film with Sanjay Dutt as a lead actor.
Movie 5 # Lagaan (2001) :-
Ashutosh Gowariker directs this film. He wants to Shah Rukh Khan to play the role of Bhuvan, but Shah Rukh Khan rejected it because of his busy schedule. Later, Amir Khan played the role of Bhuvan and also produced the film Lagaan was the third Indian film to be nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film after Mother India (1957) and Salaam Bombay (1988).
Movie 6 # Slumdog Millionaire (2008) :-
Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won eight. It won seven BAFTA Awards, five Critic's Choice Awards, and four Golden Globe.
Here Anil Kapoor played the role of Quiz Master Prem Kumar, which was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan. But he rejected it.
Movie 7 # Jodhaa Akbar (2008):-
Jodhaa Akbar is a 2008 Indian historical romance film directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker. At first, he offered the role of Akbar to Shah Rukh Khan, but he rejected it for the shooting location issue. Then Hrithik Roshan played the role of Akbar instead.
Movie 8 # Robot (2010) :-
This is a bilingual film released in Tamil as Enthiran and in English as Robot. The director of this film, Shankar, initially wanted Shah Rukh Khan to the central role.
Movie 9 # Padmaavat (2018):-
Padmaavat is an Indian epic periodic drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Here Ranveer Singh played the role of Alauddin Khalji, which was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan loved this character, but he demanded a high fee for the movie that was not acceptable by the producers of Padmaavat.
Movie 10 # Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) :-
This film is written and directed by Rakesh Roshan. His first choice for the role of Rohit was Shah Rukh Khan, but Shah Rukh rejected this role. Then Rakesh decides to continue this film with his son Hrithik as a lead actor.
