Top Tips on Resolving New Designer Glasses Issues

So, you have just invested in a new pair of designer glasses, and for some reason, they do not look right or look right;  What are your options when you are dissatisfied with your new specs?  After all, you spend time with your optician to decide what is best for you, so can you even consider changing them?

Top tips in solving eyewear problems

Designer Glass Reinstallation and Refund Procedures

When you are spending money on a good pair of specs, you must do so with a reputable optician who can give you a full guarantee of satisfaction.  Before you buy, make sure your retailer has a sound refund or re-policy establishment policy.  The policy should state that replacement or refund will be granted if there is a problem with the material used or if the prescription is not made correctly and you have vision problems.

In any case, if you find that the frames are not made properly, or the lenses do not fit your suggestive eye needs, go back to the optician and be honest about your problem.  They do their part to fix it, and usually, there is no charge.  The optician may want to re-examine your eyes to see if there is a problem from the actual eye exam and if so, the retailer will usually remake the lenses free of charge if there is a change in the prescription.  However, they usually only offer a prescription change for a fixed period.

If you break designer mirrors by accident or misuse, they will not be replaced or refunded.

  Eyewear issues and solutions

The new specs raise some issues.  Here are some of them and their solutions.

  Sensitivity to light

If your new mirrors do not have photochromic lenses and you have trouble going into bright weather, ask your optician to upgrade the photochromic lens option, as they darken automatically when exposed to bright sunlight.

  Reflections

At any time, if you see any reflections in your glasses and they start to bother you, your optician may offer you an anti-reflective coating option.  It is provided at extra cost but may be worth it if the reflections cause your eyes to strain.

  Compatible with progressive lenses

If you choose progressive lenses in your designer glasses, you may find an adjustment duration.  Over time you should feel a lot at home in your new specs. If not, you will need to replace them with less expensive bifocal or single vision alternatives.  However, you may not be able to return the difference for this swap.  (Check retailer policy first.)

Not happy with how they look

Most retailers will allow you to change your glasses even if you don’t like them.  Although this may vary depending on the optician, you will need to bring them back for replacement within 30 days.

Like any good retailer, opticians need to be able to provide customer satisfaction.  It is wise to take your time to avoid embarrassment when buying designer glasses, talk to the staff there to help you, and make sure you have explored all your options without rushing your decision.  Consider the added extras and call your own to see if the extra initial investment is worth it, so you have no problems and end up changing your specs.
