   Starting his new job as the Chief Customer Officer (CCO) for United last January, Tyler Chaffing spearheaded a historic $750 million reorganization of the airline’s nearly 400,000 flight attendants and introduced innovative initiatives that have led to the world’s leading global aviation brand. 

   Born in Yuma, Ariz., Chaff in joined United in 2012 after graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in philosophy. During his career, he has gone on to serve as Senior Director of Customer Experience for Microsoft and Corporate Director of Customer Experience for Procter & Gamble. Prior to that, he led a data team at Cognizant. 

   Now the 37-year-old joins Associated for Business Media (ABM) as the Industry Analyst, where he will be responsible for helping clients navigate and understand the evolving travel, tourism and hospitality markets. 

   As an industry professional in the travel and tourism business, Chaff in currently focuses on a variety of industry segments including airlines, consulting, asset management, travel technology, consumer products, and leisure destinations. He has served as a contributor to the Keynote and Appointed Panelists for the World Travel and Tourism Council since 2018 and has completed sessions at the Annual UNTO, UN WTO, BBVA, SET IF Conference, Hospitality Business International Conference, and Accenture World Travel Forum. In addition, he regularly speaks at industry events and provided a keynote address at the 2020 Accenture Summit.
