Why our fingers get wrinkled in water?
In our daily life, we observe that after working in the water our fingers get wrinkled. This happens due to our body structure. In past times people believed that when we go in the water the first layer of skin, which is also called peridium, absorbs water and expands. But this statement is wrong.
If this statement is true then the same phenomenon must happen with paralyzing people. But it not happens with paralyzing people.
In fact, this happens to make our grip strong. When we go in water it passes through our sweat gland. When this signal reaches the brain it reduces blood volume in that part of the body. Hence blood volume decreases in that part of body and skin contracts and forms lines.
Why our skin color goes black in the water?
When we go in sunlight why our skin color goes dark? This happens to protect our body from UV rays. Melanocytes cells are found in our bodies. these cells absorb sunlight and produce melanins. The color of these melanins is black.these melanins are collected under the skin.
