Top 5 seasoned football player who deserve a world cup according to FIFA

 

1) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Aubameyang was born on June 18, 1989. Aubameyang is a Gabonese footballer and plays as a striker and also captains  Gabonese national team and the Premier League club Arsenal.

Aubameyang could have chosen to represent France, Italy or Spain, but he chose Gabon as a 19-year-old because his father once captained him.

He was chosen CAF African Footballer of the Year in the year 2015 and has finished on the podium with the award five times.

He also led Robert Lewandowski to be named Bundesliga Player of the Year in 2015-16, became the first African to receive the award, and finished as the leading scorer in Germany and England respectively.

Gabon played well in the 2010 qualifiers for South Africa, defeated Morocco at home and away and had a chance to reach the first World Cup on the final day of the match, but missed Cameroon.

Their efforts to qualify for Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018 were disappointing though.

 

2) Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale  started his professional career at Southampton, played at left-back and gained fame as a free kick professional.

Gareth Bale is Welsh football player and  he plays  for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur as a winger, on loan from Real Madrid of La Liga, and the Wales national team.

Bale began his professional career in Southampton. The electric striker, with a great ability to cross and shoot, the striking goal scorer became the most expensive player in the world when he joined Real Madrid from Tottenham.

He became famous as Real Madrid with four teams from the UEFA Champions Leagues and three FIFA Club World Cup medals, shining in the finals several times.

Wales did not make it to South Africa in 2010 or Brazil in 2014, but only lost 1-0 at home to the Republic of Ireland, with the exception of Bale injured, in their last Group D match they missed out on a place in Russia 2018.

The Dragons could gain confidence removing Belgium from reaching the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2016 - their first ever  major tournament since Sweden 1958 - and qualifying for EURO 2020.

 

3) Atiba Hutchinson

Atiba Hutchinson is a player from Canada who is midfielder in Canadian national, Hutchinson also plays for Besiktas.
While playing in Denmark Atiba Hutchinson won the Danish Super Liga Player of the Year and  became the first player in North America to receive the award.
The man, who first appeared on the scene more than 18 years ago, insisted he would call it quits  in 2019.

However, his excellent form for Besiktas, who leads the Turkish Super Lig, and the emergence of the best generation of Canadian players always seem to dream of ‘The Octopus’ of Qatar.

The Canucks have not come close to reaching the World Cup since they first played in Mexico in 1986, but there has never been more hope for their team.


4) Van Dijk

Virgil van Dijk  is a Dutch player who plays for Premier League club Liverpool as a defender and captain of the Dutch national team. He is considered one of the best defenders in the world, known for his strength and leadership.

The 6 feet 4 inches defender became the most expensive defender in the world when he joined Liverpool from Southampton.

He has recovered more than £ 75m by helping the Red to win the Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup, and the club's current defensive struggles provide proof of his recurrence.

Van Dijk finished second in Lionel Messi to receive the award for The Best FIFA Men's Player in 2019.

Louis van Gaal caught the attention of Van Dijk of Brazil 2014 and did not make his international debut until the following year.

The Netherlands finished behind France and Sweden in Russia for the 2018 qualifiers, but their positive recovery thereafter includes reaching the UEFA Nations League final.


5)  Jan Oblak

Jan Oblak is a Slovenian football player who plays as a goalkeeper and captains the Slovenian national team. Jan Oblak is known for his reflexes and agility and considered among best goalkeepers in the world.

Jan Oblak the Slovenian captain, who finished third in The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper 2020 running, has been one of the best players in his position for years. He  also won the Zamora Trophy.

Oblak became the first Slovenian goalkeeper after the international retirement of Samir Handanovic in late 2015. Although five sheets are clean in ten games in Russia 2018 qualifiers, but Slovenia can only finish fourth in the six Group 6 teams, just behind Slovakia and Scotland.
