Today everyone wants to be successful, but they don't want to work hard, or they don't want to try again if they fail. They want to be successful in their first attempt. If they face failure, they either quit or stop trying again. Without failure, there is no success; if you want to succeed, you will have to fail.
Failure is not the stepping stone to success. Instead, it is the first step towards success. Without the dark, we won't realize the importance of sunlight the same way without failure; we won't realize the hardship faced to be successful.
Today I will share some of the failures faced by successful people.
1. Jack Ma
Jack Ma Chinese businessman and currently the richest man in China, is the founder of Alibaba Group, the largest e-commerce company in china. But to achieve this success, he has failed many times.
Jack Ma's failures :
- Failed two times in primary school
- Failed three times in middle school
- Failed in university
- Failed 30 times to get job
- Went to KFC for a job out of 24 people, 23 were selected, and only 1 was not selected, and that 1 was Jack Ma
- Tried for a police job, again out of 5 people, 4 were selected, and Jack Ma was not selected
Today Jack Ma's net worth is $50.6 billion, and he is the richest man in China. So if he can, then why cannot we.
2. Colonel Sanders
Some of them would not know him so let me introduce him. He is Colonel Sanders, founder of a popular restaurant that we recognize as KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken). He founded KFC when he was 65 years old, and his net worth was $3.5 million in 1980. To achieve this, he failed many times, but he kept on improving himself and never stopped.
Colonel Sanders Failures:
- He failed 1009 times before succeeding
- His wife left him
- Until the age of 60, he was unsuccessful
- 100's of restaurants denied his dish
3. Elon Musk
He is currently the richest man on this earth, but he would not get that title if he had stopped following his dream. He does not think of failure as the stepping stone to success; he thinks of failure as the first step.
Elon Musk failures:
- Fired from his own company ZIP2
- PayPal made by him was recognized as the worst business idea of the year
- Again fired from PayPal
- In 2006 launched first rocket and it exploded
- 2007 Second rocket exploded
- Became completely bankrupt
- And many more
After all these failures today, Elon Musk is the richest man on this earth. He always improved in him. With every failure, he kept improving himself; he never stopped just because of failure.
These are the top 3 people who faced lots of difficulties and even failed many times, but they never stopped following their aims, and today they are world example.
