UNO ( United Nations Organization) is the oldest organization organizing all the work worldwide. Currently, 195 countries are members of the United Nations Organization. Its work is not to keep peace all over the world but also to manage all fields in every aspect from minor to major. United Nations Organization has made some organizations, and every organization works on different aspects. Here we will discuss those specialized agencies of UNO.

1. FAO ( Food And Agricultural Organization)

Food and agricultural organization (FAO) is the largest UN agency. And also, it is the oldest existing agency of UNO. FAO's work is to look at all the agricultural issues and agricultural development, new techniques for agriculture, and farmers' welfare. It mainly focuses on forestry, nutrition, fisheries, land, and water resources. It came into existence in 1945, and it has its headquarters in Rome.

2. ICAO ( International Civil Aviation Organization)

ICAO came into existence in 1947. ICAO mainly focuses on air transportation; it's development and planning. It also focuses on air navigation, unlawful interference, border crossing procedure facilitation. ICAO has its headquarters in Martyral (Canada).

3. ILO ( International Labour Organization)

ILO (International Labour Organization), as the name suggests, this organization is totally made for laborers' welfare. All labor issues, their rights, their needs are all seen by ILO. It was made in 1919 before it was a part of the "League of Nations." Then it was kept the same when UNO came into existence. It has its headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland).

4. IMF( International Monetary Fund)

International Monetary Fund (IMF) has its headquarters in Washington, DC. It provides monetary co-operation and financial stability. It also provides a forum for advice, negotiation, assistance on financial issues.

5. WBG( World Bank Group)

World Bank Group has 5 divided work to 5 institutions, which are as follows:

1. IBRD-international bank for reconstruction and development.

2. IFC- International finance corporation.

3. IDA- International Development Association.

4. MIGA- Multilateral investment guarantee agency.

5. ICSID- International center for settlement of investment disputes organization.

These institutions do work according to their type, and all submit reports to WBG.

6. UPU ( Universal Postal Union)

All postal related work around the world comes under the vision of UPU. It has its headquarters in Berne.

7. UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)

It was established in 1946. It has its headquarters in Paris. Its work is to increase and support peace and security by educational, scientific, and cultural mediums.

8. WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) 

WIPO sees all the property-related issues and it's management.

9. UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization)

It promotes inclusive and sustainable development. Its headquarters is in Viyana (Australia). It also sees economic growth and economic growth together.

10. WTO (World Tourism Organization)

It was established in 1974. It has its headquarters in Madrid (Spain). It works on all tourism policies.

11. WMO ( World Meteorological Organization)

It has its headquarters in Geneva. It looks at all whether forecasting, water, air, geophysics science, and meteorology work.

12. ITU ( International Telecommunication Union) 

Its work is to operate international radio and telecom regulation and standardize.

13. IMO ( International Maritime Organization)

It was made in 1948 but worked with full force in 1958. Its headquarters are in London (UK). It controls marine pollution and shipping industries.

14. IFAD (International Fund For Agricultural Development)

It was established in 1977 after 1974's "World Food Conference." It has its headquarters in Rome.

15. WHO (World Health Organization)

WHO is the most important organization if UNO. It works on health, sanitation, diseases, and epidemics in a community and ensures all world's safety.

These are the specialized agencies of UNO that control all the issues and problems and work for people's welfare.
