1.SYSTEM SOFTWARE

System software helps run the computer hardware and computer system. It controls the operations of the computer and devices attached to it. 5.BOOTING

The process to start or restart a computer that is called the booting process; the operating system is consists of a supervisor portion and a set of system programs. When the system is switched on, the supervisor portion of the operating system is loaded into the RAM from the disk we say that the system has booted. There are two types of booting. 

Cold boot: When the computer is switched on, the process of starting it is called cold booting.

Warm boot: The process to restart a computer that is already powered on is called warm booting.

6.CONFIGURATION OF DEVICE AND SOFTWARE

7. MANAGEMENT OF THE PROGRAMS
